Re: Jag Doom

I recently posted the interview with John Romero that we did at Revival 2014 on You Tube for those interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fJcZWmlBKU Also been reading some comments elsewhere regarding John Romero and Jag Doom. Having met him and spent a whole weekend with him and his lovely wi...

Re: Creature Shock for Jaguar CD

I have seen the tirades of abuse, insults, slander and downright fabrication posted about me elsewhere with regards to lost games and stuff. All I have ever done with the lost games is look for info, re-post it and tell people where I found it, exactly the same thing another person is doing. If info...

Re: Creature Shock for Jaguar CD

No the comment wasn't in jest and I stand by it. Well I'll back off a little on the 'completely' remark. But in large Gamepro and DieHard GameFan were horribly biased. Wasn't Gamepro the one that called NBA Jam on the Jaguar worse than the SNES version? If I remember right Gamepro was the magazine ...

Re: Jaguar rare finds

I have a Fight For Life Beta: Jagfest UK edition - only one of its kind in world. Has a different label design to the standard edition. It was produced by Jay Smith and given away as prize for the Worms competition at Jagfest UK 2006 I also have a few games I was given for testing purposes  I ...

Re: Jaguar Collections

You can see a fair bit of my Jag collection in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dne1MATpU10 In exactly one week though it will all be gone, no more Jag under the TV or games on my shelves. I have grown so tired of the Jaguar community that I have started to hate the machine as it reminds ...

It's interesting that he hated the hardware when Carmack loved it.

The music question is a bit redundant, that was cleared up years ago.

Yeah I suppose calling it a FMV shooter was a little unfair, there is a bit more to it than that.

Re: Re:

I don't think there is anything other than screenshots for this. It was being ported by Atari directly, but they probably dropped it due to poor reviews. The game wasn't all that great. Just watched a video of this. It would of been one of the better more interesting shooters on the Jaguar. That's ...

Re: Creature Shock for Jaguar CD

As part of the interview conducted for ST Gamer Vol 1 with Mr Darryl Still of Atari UK, Ross put the question to Darryl: Ross:Talking of Lost Jaguar Games, what ever happened to Jaguar CD Creature Shock? Darryl:As i recal it was something Atari always wanted, but simply could'nt get, as Jez (San) p...

Re: Creature Shock for Jaguar CD

Well the game was featured on the Jaguar CD box, heavily promoted in the catalogues and magazines of the time and featured on lots of Jaguar advertising. So it was definitely much more than an "idea" or a "want". Also as I already stated, Creature Shock was a 3rd party game so I wouldn't expect Mike...

It's coming along nicely now too, not a million miles from the finish line.

When I first saw this it made me think it was Earthworm Jim 2, as that was announced for Jaguar.

Now I think it might be something different, but another platformer . . .

I have actually been speaking with Carl today about a few titles :P

Re: Quarantine for Jaguar? Where is it?

Rumor I heard is that Quarantine, which I'm getting into on the 3DO was suppose to come out for the Jag. I'm wondering if maybe a beta was done somewhere or perhaps a complete unreleased version. Quarantine for 3DO I think the Jaguar CD could do this real well and would love to of played it on the ...

I loved Myst, so many great memories trying to complete that with my best mate. However Elansar just isn't very good I am afraid, such a shame as I was REALLY excited about it when I first heard about it. Firstly, and most importantly, it's just far too short - I completed it in under 20 minutes on...
