Re: Theme Park thread

"Niflheim" cashed in at 15,219,776 "Spaceballs The Theme Park" gave me new difficulties. Late in the game, 1's 2's bold N's and M's were not showing up on screen. Names of who held stocks were missing letters. The park name became "SPACEBALLS THE THE E PARK." While smaller numbers on the purchase sc...

Yeah, wow, this didn't go into details either... https://thesplintering.com/2020/09/02/retro-gaming-historian-and-atari-history-museum-founder-curt-vendel-passes-away/ "Curt Vendel, Atari historian and founder of the Atari History Museum has passed away on 30 August at the age of 53." Fifty-three.

Re: Theme Park thread

Nope. I have used no cheats. That would make life easier. Why would I want to do that? LOL! I have loaded an old save that has over 9 million and has around three map locations unlocked -- it doesn't really seem like a hard game, just time consuming and unreliable in the save-game department. I'm av...

A political radio show on NPR had a person on who described himself as a "Masochistic Optimist." I laughed when I heard that. I totally relate... So, the Space Shuttle was smoking and the game wasn't letting me replace the ride. Multi-tone sounds while locked up, had me reset. I'm making money but n...

"Epic Eternal Blaze" ended when I tried to adjust the capacity on one of the Tube Rides. I had just found out how to do this recently when I guess I did it one too many times for the game's liking. The "pointer" began flashing and did a verticle/left diagonal streak from bottom to top... and I was s...

Re: WIP Wormhole 2000 (Gyruss clone)

My first impression was, "I hope not." It's rather jarring to have the 8/16 bit images seen over top of 32/64 bit images. I would have to say the "Wormhole 2000" game appears to use the source material from NASA. Did the developers make any attempt to update the Gyruss graphics other than the backgr...

So, "Cylon Party Palace" met it's demise after I tried to replace the entrance to the monorail. My speakers gave out this comical "bong" sound that reminded me of a kid flicking a spring doorstop. Upgrading rides as they get overused is a good idea, normally. In this case, vertical lines streaked th...

Re: YES! Duranik possibly considering finishing Native.

Thank you for granting me my first wish, a31chris. So, is there any more than that? Duranik's "Sturmwind EX" looks sleek. I found it on YouTube. I can see where Native cues come in & it looks like an impressive upgrade. It would be keen to see something on the Jaguar more reputable than ports of oth...

Re: Theme Park thread

My last park, "Metroblaster," gave me what I wanted, sort-of; I got all the vats(?) maxed out "--DONE--" but then I was curious what it would do if I pressed the multi-vat button, to give them more juice, after they are all maxed out -- that pretty much locked up everything! End of line. I figured i...

Haven't played the Jaguar in a while. Thought I'd pop in here and say I played Theme Park yesterday and today. xBox 360 audio channel confusion

Hi all, I got an xBox 360 for Christmas, 2015. Yeah, it must be one of those "classic" systems if I have one, right? Anywho, I was noticing several of my games have audio channel confusion. Weird. I was thinking it was my set-up at first, but when the voices are in the wrong channel on level one and...

That's really cool to hear Agreed! :D The Jag version's animation isn't any better than any other, but it does have the benefit of having a higher color count than the Genesis/CD or SNES versions of the game. It's still a solid version. Regardless of which one you play though the game has excellent...

Re: CyberMax PC System has Failed

A recent trip to Best Buy showed me that getting a hard drive repaired doesn't seem practical when these things are so smeggin' cheap brand new! Not sure I shouldn't consider getting a laptop now. Man, I am so... old. They don't even seem to sell internal drives less than 500 GB. That blows my mind.

Not being familiar with 3DO, are you being funny when you use the word "meager?" Fifty-one games seems about average for my game collections I consider complete, or as close to it as I feel I'm ever going to get. Looks cool to me. 8)
