Re: Japanese Game Translation "Wish List"
I too would love to see the 3DO version of ROTK IV get translated. Yes, it's on other platforms, but experiencing each console's unique version is definitely worthwhile, as we never know what'll be there until we find out firsthand! Koei used a standardized approach to their games, and I'm wonderin...

TRIPLE COMBO.
This isn't spam, days go between my posts.
I'd like to see a translation of Sangokushi IV (Romance of the 3 Kingdoms IV). The game exists in english on other platforms.

Sorry for double posting. Pls no ban.
I am willing to commission a heavy translation like Blue Forest Story. I don't know what the going rates are but getting a translated, playable copy of a good lookin' JRPG for the 3DO would have an impact I'm sure.

I was secretly hoping someone, anyone, had the same idea as me. I would _love_ english versions of Blue Forest Story and Grand Chef.

Re: Running out of ideas for a 3DO homebrew...
I find the 3DO lacks in a couple genres that were so prominent in the generation just before it: Run and gun games Shmups (both horizontal and vertical) JRPGs Overhead shooters Beat em ups Devs back then weren't content with just making a quality game, it instead needed to push the tech, but alas th...

Re: Review - Strahl
Nice review! I keep meaning to sit down with Strahl and give it a good playthrough. How many different endings are there? There are 48, good sir. And they depend on which order you clear the stages in. You also get different "cut scenes" telling you about your civilization's progress depending on s...

Re: Recent 3DO Purchases
Agreed with your description of Mazer. At the time it struck me as something like a cross between Smash TV and Shadow: War of Succession. It's a bit janky but very playable. I have fond memories of that game because just as I finished it, my wife got home from a church sale with ~10 boxes of qualit...

Is this double-posting?
I just got in long boxed copies of Iron Angel of the Apocalypse and Mazer. Mazer is actually sort of fun. It's like..... Isometric Smash TV with a heavy dose of Mortal Kombat in its presentation.

Re: Review - Blade Force
Thread is dead for 9 years, but I actively looked for the Blade Force review to remind everyone that this is the single most over rated game on the 3DO. (Or it might be on par with Captain Quazar...but I feel like the latter did not get as much hype) Not that it's bad, but it's clearly a frustrating...

Re: Review - Strahl
I got my hands on a mint copy this year and I had a lot of fun with it. I like that the controls are displayed on screen. I wish Space Ace did that. I was _stumped_ after realizing I had beat the game in one sitting. Took me about 20 minutes. But I ran through it 3-4 more times and it was just as fu...

Re: Introduce yourself.
Hey guys. It's me. We're probably on 12 different 3DO FB groups and sub-forums together :) I'm the one who posted reviews of reviews on AtariAge and Facebook if you seen those. So I'm a 37 yr old 3DO enthusiast hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Had an FZ-1 as a kid, so I have that nostalove for...
