Re: Panasonic M2 Game console
Sadly almost all M2 owners do not share anything, they just want attention. That's why there is almost nothing out there in the wild. Windowskiller's new name is 3dodev, doing everything for attention: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?47103-Huge-archive-of-3DO-M2-software-release...

Looks awful but is nice and easy to use, not having to deal with the command line.

WK - for those of us who are not that technically minded (ie me)why hasn't anyone gotten the arcade M2 titles to run in a playable format on the FZ-21 or FZ-35 ? Who says no one hasn't? ;) It's not possible on the FZ-21S, because it lacks enough memory, but the FZ-35S can run them. BUT only if you ...

Re: OMG real-time, playable M2 Dolphin demo !?
When I saw screenshots of the Dolphin demo in recent years, I assumed it was pre-rendered CG, like the famous 'M2 Racing' and 'M2 Dungeon' demos It seems that only the M2 Racing demo and the Dungeon demo (which was two-parted actually, not just the Dungeon scene) were pre-rendered, all other M2 dem...

It doesn't say a single word about the FreeDO sources. If you think they will be released on May 1st, you'll be disappointed. All sources are accessible by SVN All sources to the previously mentioned Open SDK for Opera will be accessible by SVN. That's what it refers to. However, even if they never...

8.) Hex edited the ISO to modify data from Disc label. The Disc label always points to sector 0 (first sector) and contains, among other things, the size of the disc in sectors. That info, however, isn't really used and you don't have to care about it. rom_tags tells the system which files to load ...

The next problem will be, how is the drive formatted? FAT? FAT32? EXT2? HFS, of course, which Windows can't read natively. Even worse, Windows will destroy the hard disk's filesystem due to its nature to write data to some sectors of every hard disk found in the system, even if it's formatted with ...

Re: 3do dev
What is in the development kit, and what kind of hardware is needed to connect the developer system to the mac? Thanks The connection between the dev station and the Mac is done with a special NuBus card, which uses an optical cable (!). I've never seen or found one myself, sadly. I'm afraid those ...

I guess that bug is a vista thing then. Must be something in the code thats making it act up weird with vista. Not a bug and not related to Vista either. I only get ???s as well. Reason is simple: It's not compiled as unicode. XP and on are unicode-only and have a conversion layer for non-unicode a...
