Re: Panasonic M2 Game console

Sadly almost all M2 owners do not share anything, they just want attention. That's why there is almost nothing out there in the wild. Windowskiller's new name is 3dodev, doing everything for attention: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?47103-Huge-archive-of-3DO-M2-software-release...

I think you got something completely wrong here, or maybe you don't remember how many people promised to make a video of the shooter shortly after I released it almost 2 years ago. Or maybe sarcasm just doesn't work in English. Whatever...

Err... what???

The only person I can't stand is bitrate, as he's a hardware horder and once tried something very shameful (blackmail, that is) in an attempt to force me giving him a copy of IMSA racing... And all he does is talking big about his stuff anyway.

Wow, it took more than 1.5 years until someone made a video of the shooter.

ps: Watch out for some very cool stuff on 3dom2.de / 3dom2.com soon, which will replace GTW3DO. (ignore the placeholder, had no time yet to set up the domains)

He's trying to sell this for maybe 3 years or so, but he won't ever sell it for that price. It's untested, doesn't come with docs nor the sdk disc, etc. Maybe for $1000, but not for $3333.

WK - for those of us who are not that technically minded (ie me)why hasn't anyone gotten the arcade M2 titles to run in a playable format on the FZ-21 or FZ-35 ? Who says no one hasn't? ;) It's not possible on the FZ-21S, because it lacks enough memory, but the FZ-35S can run them. BUT only if you ...

Re: OMG real-time, playable M2 Dolphin demo !?

When I saw screenshots of the Dolphin demo in recent years, I assumed it was pre-rendered CG, like the famous 'M2 Racing' and 'M2 Dungeon' demos It seems that only the M2 Racing demo and the Dungeon demo (which was two-parted actually, not just the Dungeon scene) were pre-rendered, all other M2 dem...

What do you mean with "normal CD"? CDs for M2 are using mode 1 data tracks and red book audio, if that is what you call a normal CD. However, it doesn't use the ISO9660 filesystem but the Opera filesystem, which Windows can't read.

To be honest, I think you should take the time to write down the information you got with your own words instead of publishing whole emails without the people's permission. This is exactly what pisses off many ex-developers so they won't talk to anyone again. No offense meant.

RSA, of course. The algorithm is no secret. But that won't help you much without knowing the private key if you want to do proper encryption without hacking.

It doesn't say a single word about the FreeDO sources. If you think they will be released on May 1st, you'll be disappointed. 8.) Hex edited the ISO to modify data from Disc label. The Disc label always points to sector 0 (first sector) and contains, among other things, the size of the disc in sectors. That info, however, isn't really used and you don't have to care about it. rom_tags tells the system which files to load ...

Actually, that's just a .sdf file started with the viewer. From the .sdf files I have, I could create hundreds of such "demos". :D
