Ataryians are everywhere. [Shudder] You know sometimes, there is nothig more fun though than using an old Atari controler on your 3DO (get the Genesis adapter, its worth it!). Gives a nostalgic, and arcade feel at the same time. LOL. Drax I wouldn't mind a PSX-->3DO converter. There is a homebrew s...

I've only ever tested on FZ1s and FZ10 (UK, US and JPN) and they've been pretty reliable. I often looked at the Goldstar and Sanyo machines but they were pretty rare in the UK. Power Kingdoms fails using a US machine but works fine on a UK PAL machine and a japanese machine and the US version of Pow...

Re: Where are the new members?
I am wondering how come more of the cd-i forum members have not also joined this new forum. Perhaps they could be cross promoted? Also, where has Bas been (hopefully recruiting more people  ) OK, I admit sometimes a few posts slip through my eyes ;) Most free time I spend here goes to Interac...

TEH HARDKORE!
TEH HARDKORE! That's us right? This group. Pretty impressive - right?. Might as well close the membership. Why? Well, it's like the 3DO elite are right here. Firstly - we got Lemmi is God. The ultimate 3DO collector. Lemmi picked the bones of the next greatest 3DO collector and is without a doubt th...

I've never had a problem with compatibility and the FZ1 and the FZ-10 - but be warned. Region protected games that I remember: - Soccer Kid. - Powers Kingdom. - Casper. All need the right machine for the right game region. Also some Japanese games need the Kanji support. - Twinkle knights. (maybe) -...

I'm extraordinarily open minded about the whole subject and my rules (not the official Devin ones, are different) I think the people who worked on some of the old games get a kick out of seeing people play them even today. I have comments from people on my blog who worked on Space Hulk and Paatank. ...

And maybe even go to heaven and reap the rewards there.* *not guarenteed. :D If you can guarantee it, I'll consider it. I think I have somewhere around 85 different import titles for the 3do. I'll try to get some group photos in the next few days and post them. We should try to get a complete list ...

Re: Question for 3DO Kid.
Dude, I have read all of your blogs over time and see that you have a column up on one of the videogame sites, which lead me here to this forum. I have to ask, do you have any odities ar just outright weird items for the 3DO. Seems to me that you have had your hands and eyes on quite a bit 3DO stuf...

Legal backups and not so legal ones.
Say i was an unscrupulous scallywag. And say I had a copy of a game that wasn't entirely (cough) legitimate. And then say I purchased a Japanese original of that game but it was in Japanese language and not English language like the version I found and made myself. Would that make it all OK? or am i...

May I ask why Shockwave was removed? I understand that it was later ported to the Saturn and Playstation, but for the longest time it was only on the 3DO. I don't really count ports in these lists, do you? 8) Trip'd was released in the US of course, and is easily the best puzzler for the US 3DO. Aw...

Damn, I got all excited about this as I was a fan of Ice Breaker! What's with pimping a release that won't happen? Still having the encryption issues with the system, I see! Why oh why did Trip Hawkins not release the encryption to public domain for the 3DO? It is sad indeed. I think old Trip wasn'...

i didn't win a copy of Alfred Hitchcock for the 3DO. the reason is that the price sailed upto, and get this, this game is really bad. I mean really bad. It sailed upto £200.00 Yes, two hundred UK pounds stirling. That's around $400 USD!) My little tokyo-side-kick phoned me to tell me the bad news. I...

Warp, Trip'ds developer, were weird. Ask me if I love Warp and I'd say I do. Ask me which of their games I thought was actually, genuinely, really really any good and I'd struggle... maybe D? For puzzle perfection on the 3DO the Japanese import Crayon shin chans mystery is about the best. If you can...

...After what I wrote about Ice Breaker on my blog, I'm probably black listed. I consider the library of games for 3DO, one of the poorest game library in the world... Good-bye the free disk of Ice Breaker 2  ...Not seen the Atari Jaguar library - no? 3DO was positively blessed :) (free disk b...
