well i took it apart and the solder joints looked good didnt even see anything questionable.

im starting to think WindowsKiller is right that its a bad video encoder or a bad part of some kind.

Thanks i though i was going crazy that i could not find any reference to the battery model.

yes the NVRAM needs the battery to maintain the memory..

I opened it up and cleaned it when i wasnt sure if it was cables or not i will reopen the system and see if there is anything obvious and i will try Bonefish's suggestion. i will update after i take it apart ..

Hello, I take it that these lines are persistent throughout gameplay as well? Any chance you could grab a photo or screen capture of the lines? the lines are for the most part only apparent when the system is not in full screen. eg it is displayed when there is a solid black background i can post s...
