Saturn was not an overly sizeable threat during 3DO's run in the states w/it's early botched launch, high price tag & small and spotty library. I know Japan was a killer, but 3DO was done by the time Sega hit their groove here. PSX didn't have near as many growing pains ... sad news for 3DO fans. :...

Having had to send back my 360 twice in a little over 3 years I know about its lack of reliability. That being said in my opinion taking into account its recent price I think the 360 is worth it. Sure I hate to be without my system for a while, but its the only way I get to play notable exclusives l...

If I remember correctly (its been a while) there was never anything that they sent to you. However they did have items you could order from the 3DO company like shirts, hats, jackets, and things with the 3DO logo.

I was a member of The 3DO club and I had all of their newsletters. Their newsletters were informative; They would provide info. on upcoming games, developers, and related business news. When I sold my original console I gave the new owner all my 3DO newsletters.

It looks like my 360 is on its way back, quick turn around by MS. My 3DO has become a favorite in my household though. Family games like Twisted and to some extent Return Fire have become a hit with my family. I'm still playing Bladeforce also, I never did get to complete the game when I had my orig...

No, identity wasn't really an issue. It was PRICE that killed it. I totally agree. Everyone who played my 3DO loved it. They just could not afford it. They did lower the price, but by then the market was flooded with 32/64bit machines (Saturn/PS1/and to some extent Jaguar). Had they released the un...

If you need it I can let it go for a sma...

Xbox 360 being repaired 3DO main console again

Well I just sent off my Xbox 360 for the second time in 3 years for repair. I'm getting the infamous RROD error. Anyway with the 360 gone I ve been doing a lot of gaming on the 3DO. I've been clocking a lot of hours on Bladeforce, Shockwave, and Return Fire. These games rock! if only Panasonic would...

Well, I can only rate/rank the ones I've played so here goes: 1) Samurai Shodown - The best transfer aside from the NEO-GEO 2) Super Street Fighter II Turbo - Best version released of any system 3) Way of the Warrior - The game play is a little weak, but the soundtrack is awesome 4) Ballz - Not craz...

I also agree that people tend to bash or criticize what they don't understand. Also I may be in the minority here, but I actually preferred the 3DO library of games compared to Saturn or Playstation. Games like Twisted, Gex, and Super Wing Commander III were revolutionary. To this day there are no b...

3DO finally arrived. Some questions

Hey folks my 3do player finally arrived and looks great. The system looks great with no visable signs of wear. I also got the light gun, wireless controllers, and about 2 dozen titles. Question, I notice some of the games seem a little pixelated. For example Crash-n-Burn looks really pixelated. Am I...

Can someone recommend some import titles

Hey all, I was a big 3DO fan back in the day and as a 2nd time 3DO owner I am starting a new collection. I am very familiar with the domestic releases, but unfamiliar with imports. Can someone recommend some import titles that I should become familiar with. Thanks.

A few outstanding titles on that list. I also remember having Mortal Kombat pre-ordered. I'll say it again, 3DO had the best library between the 32bit machines. I still can not believe Panasonic pulled the plug on M2. HD DVD is another technology that in my opinion is superior to the competition and...

I'm okay with the games of this generation, but that being said I have not seen anything new. I really can not say my experience with Halo III was any better than Halo I.
