I dunno, I don't have have a favorite memory, per se. I'm just really grateful that I got to be a part of something not completely mainstream, like the SNES or PSX following. It was a little absurd that I had a $400 machine (I waited a year) as a 13 year old kid, but it allowed me some choice games ...

Something I've always wondered ..... was there a North American release for the Sanyo? I've always liked the look of those and I would love to own one one day. Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near hardcore enough to fool with making a PAL machine work on my TV.

All I remember is a pretty detailed preview writeup in Next Generation magazine. They had screenshots and everything. Anyone know the demise of Shredfest ? Basically, it was EA's attempt at a road rash on snowboards (complete with hand to hand combat and a rock soundtrack). I remember the previews and being very psyched about it. Seemed like a guaranteed hit to me. It didn't surprise me when it didn't show up on 3D...
