Yes it was definitely the hefty price tag that made the majority of people look the other way! and then the saturn and especially the playstation banged the final nails into the 3DO's coffin

Just get some tweezers and pull the piece of paper out.... And if that fails then the controller port pins could be fractured/broken! This has happened a couple of times with me over the years with megadrives and amiga's... It can happen to pretty much any console that uses those old dodgy pin ports.

I like my 360.... but only for the games :lol: My old XBOX 360 only needed repairing once in about 3 years but i recently sold it and got the new 360 "Jasper" console which runs cooler and uses less power.... which should hopefully end the RROD problem (fingers crossed). Both US and Jap NTSC systems run from a 110V mains supply. I on the other hand have to use those ugly, bulky "step-down" converters to run NTSC machines in the UK (220~240V).

Is there such thing as a "step-up" converter for running PAL equipment in NTSC territories??

Yes emulation does generally suck compared to using the "real" hardware but sometimes it can be better running games via an emulator than running them on the actual hardware itself! Yes the FZ-10 is good for it's features but i personally do not like that model as it is cheaply made and the lid feels "flimsy" but i would still consider getting one...
