I usually stick to the Neo Geo and Saturn for fighting games but have a few on other consoles too! I like Street Fighter 4 on my xbox 360....BUT....the 360 controllers are absolute crap for this game! The clunky D-pad is horrible and i only realised this after buying Street Fighter 4!! I looked into...

Just get some tweezers and pull the piece of paper out.... And if that fails then the controller port pins could be fractured/broken! This has happened a couple of times with me over the years with megadrives and amiga's... It can happen to pretty much any console that uses those old dodgy pin ports.

I like my 360.... but only for the games  My old XBOX 360 only needed repairing once in about 3 years but i recently sold it and got the new 360 "Jasper" console which runs cooler and uses less power.... which should hopefully end the RROD problem (fingers crossed). As for too human i did expec...

DO NOT pay $300 for a 3DO and Gex.... it's not worth it and thats just silly :? Have a look either here or on ebay and you will pick up a decent boxed one for much less and will most likely have a few games. I just recently sold a fully boxed perfect condition 3DO console with 6 games for £69.99 (t...

Went to a good old car boot sale and found these little old PC gems: Maniac Mansion 2: Day of the tentacle - original CD version boxed and complete for only £1. UFO: Enemy Unknown and Syndicate double set - boxed and complete for just another £1. The Settlers 2: Veni, Vidi, Vici - boxed and complete...

forgive me Kid for I have sinned again! I have a SNK Neo CD but refuse to play it as it is still sealed aaaaaaargh! That Neo Geo really needs to be played!! It is not good to keep a console or any computer unused for years :? The electrolyte in the capacitors dries up over the years making them use...

That does not sound too healthy!! Some models of Dreamcast could not read backups or not very well at least... did yours ever make a kind of "squealing" noise? Yes with the power pins on the motherboard push them in the direction towards the back of the console but try not to completely bend them (t...

Oh yes i completely forgot about that! it is a simple fix that should only need doing once! Just unplug the power board from the motherboard and push the pins towards the back off the console (pins on the motherboard)... this ensures a proper connection and should work fine. I personally never had t...

The only Nintendo console that was renowned for failing was the original Nes.... they had a flakey cartridge slot. Apart from that the other Nintendo's so far have been rock solid! In my experience i find Sega have the most reliable and indestructible consoles ever made! I own a few and have had the...

I can't really say much about the playstation line either... My Fiancee has got her PS3 back from being repaired for the second time and still Sony will not say what was wrong with it? I have Space Hulk on the 3DO and it's a pretty cool game... the only thing that p*sses me off is it seems to freeze quite often when the gene stealers come too close! Yes emulation does generally suck compared to using the "real" hardware but sometimes it can be better running games via an emulator than running them on the actual hardware itself! Things like fully customisable graphics/sound filters and controls etc. get a big +1 from me compared to original hard...

Are the Panasonic drives supposed to open and close smoothly? I am only asking as when i was over my mates i noticed his CD drawer is a little bit noisy and "shakey" when it opens and closes and in comparison the CD drawer on my Goldstar is quiet, smooth and fast at opening and closing... also quite...

Yes the FZ-10 is good for it's features but i personally do not like that model as it is cheaply made and the lid feels "flimsy" but i would still consider getting one... It is my least favourite 3DO :( I would love to get a Sanyo model but tryinfg to find one is hard and the price will be a killer :?
