I usually stick to the Neo Geo and Saturn for fighting games but have a few on other consoles too! I like Street Fighter 4 on my xbox 360....BUT....the 360 controllers are absolute crap for this game! The clunky D-pad is horrible and i only realised this after buying Street Fighter 4!! I looked into...

Yes it was definitely the hefty price tag that made the majority of people look the other way! and then the saturn and especially the playstation banged the final nails into the 3DO's coffin :(

Just get some tweezers and pull the piece of paper out.... And if that fails then the controller port pins could be fractured/broken! This has happened a couple of times with me over the years with megadrives and amiga's... It can happen to pretty much any console that uses those old dodgy pin ports.

As for too human i did expec...

Both US and Jap NTSC systems run from a 110V mains supply. I on the other hand have to use those ugly, bulky "step-down" converters to run NTSC machines in the UK (220~240V).

Is there such thing as a "step-up" converter for running PAL equipment in NTSC territories??

DO NOT pay $300 for a 3DO and Gex.... it's not worth it and thats just silly :? Have a look either here or on ebay and you will pick up a decent boxed one for much less and will most likely have a few games. I just recently sold a fully boxed perfect condition 3DO console with 6 games for £69.99 (t...

That does not sound too healthy!! Some models of Dreamcast could not read backups or not very well at least... did yours ever make a kind of "squealing" noise? Oh yes i completely forgot about that! it is a simple fix that should only need doing once! Just unplug the power board from the motherboard and push the pins towards the back off the console (pins on the motherboard)... this ensures a proper connection and should work fine. Yes emulation does generally suck compared to using the "real" hardware but sometimes it can be better running games via an emulator than running them on the actual hardware itself! Also does this mean that UK and US games will display in Japanese on a Jap system? My Jap Neo Geo did this when a US or UK game was inserted  until i fitted a switch :D
