Corpse Killer on the Saturn was released only in the USA, so apparently Digital Pictures had learned that games of that sort don't do well in Japan. American Laser Games just ...

It's scan from some Japan game magazine. Doom's release was planned 1996/4/26, when 3DO was almost dead.

As I know, Doom for 3DO never released in Japan. Here you can watch video with Randy Scott (president of Art Data Interactive), where he tells that "Doom for 3DO will be released in Japan soon", but it's only words. They had no time to release it.
