Seems a little out of place but I had a great moment when I played Doom on my tiny Game Boy micro! I never expected a GBA to handle 3d this good. Later on I experienced the power of GBA was pretty solid when playing games like Payback (those visuals were very good for GBA!) and Driver 3. The same th...

I'd also love to try out Zelda's Adventure for the cd-i. I used to own one of the side scrolling games which were poor, but this last one looked pretty good actually. (Anyone here play it. I'm sure Devin, Bas & the some of the other guys from the cd-i forum have) Oh yeah, and I loved Zelda's Advent...

The only thing that bothers me is when someone gets an extremely rare game or proto of an unreleased game, and refuses to dump it and share with the community. Agreed. Think about how many one-of-a-kind prototypes are out there hoarded by so-called "collectors". Those who don't care about the limit...

I think CDi's only advantage was the implementation of the 32-bit cartridge for use of video. The core system is a downsized 16 bit machine which is even worse than SNES :) As it was orientated for educational programs, there was nothing wrong with this specification. Philips just underestimated the...

It's great to see there's actually high potential with you guys to go for stuff like this! Like with the M2 sticky thread, you should open a "dedicated topics" forum with stuff like that. High profile topics like a Virtual Museum (excellent title), the M2, prototypes, reviews.... Or we should remove...

Panasonic wasn't the only manufacturer of 3do, right? I've never seen a picture of a 3do player other than Panasonic. You?

I like to seperate valuable information from shit-chat, if you catch my drift. The new review sub-forum is already ruined for me (sorry) thanks to that, and it's the danger of using a forum for this. On the other hand, It's very pleasing to see a very active gang around here right now. I hope it's n...

it's just one leads to another and I think we should focus on one general 3do forum.

However, the 3do forum sections are up to Devin and 3DOkid, I'll just spread my view on it!

Teach me how to use the 3do emulator

So, anything: I've never used, never played it: What are your experiences with freedo? Is it the only emulator for 3do? Which games are compatible? Does it work without trouble? Where to download? Any new developments lately? Is the author of the emulator talkative and perhaps around? Thanks for any...

this is what happens with fragmented sub-forums. In my view, this has not a lot to do with reviewing a title. >>>>> so this should go in the general 3do forum.... ;) The same counts for the discussion in the review threads. It's great, nothing about that, but i feel it's blurring the specific type o...

No! There are already too many sub-forums and you could turn any important thread into a sub-forum if you like. It should be easy to spread your words in a thread. New members don't know where to post, don't know where to look: Please keep the forum readable. The review sub-forum is also questionabl...

Re: Where are the new members?

I am wondering how come more of the cd-i forum members have not also joined this new forum. Perhaps they could be cross promoted? Also, where has Bas been (hopefully recruiting more people  ) OK, I admit sometimes a few posts slip through my eyes ;) Most free time I spend here goes to Interac...

So, not a lot of european 3DO enthusiasts then? I would expect them to know stuff like this...

I've never seen it in the shops however, in the early ninetees, all they had was Nintendo NES/SNES, Sega Master System/Mega Drive/Sega CD, Atari Jaguar, Philips CD-i, .... can't remember anything else :)

Creature Shock is another one.

Microcosm partly, if only Philips didn't cancel the CD-i game! I've never played 3DO, so for me it's hard to compare. Videos on the internet about these systems are all low-quality!

3DO release regions?

Hi! Welcome, who thought CDinteractive would expand to other exotic formats like 3DO? I hope this is the beginning of a new world of information for me, because I don't know much about 3DO. I think that's because it wasn't available (widely?) in Europe, was it? I'm not sure, but perhaps some of you ...
