Has anyone here tried C&C4?

I've heard it isn't very good, although I probably wasn't going to pick it up anyway based on seven words stamped on the front of the case that will kill my interest in any game: "Continuous Internet Connection Required To Play Game"

Does anyone know if Shockwave Operation Jumpgate had a real manual, or just an instruction card?

I'm working out a deal with GameCubed right now, and the copy he has just has the card. Neither of us knows, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Did they have any games to go with the system? I don't know about where you live, but around here 3DO stuff almost never shows up locally. If you're trying to collect 100% complete copies of games then 3DO can be a real nightmare to collect for (worse than TG16 if you're trying to complete US games ...

They most likely moved on to the new cesspool of bad acting and terrible sets with zero production values: SyFy Original Movies.

It was a PC port of the 3DO port of the PC game. It had all the voices and the added features of the 3DO version, but none of the FMV, so while I technically beat it, I still don't know what happened. :(

I love this game. It's the reason I got into 3DO stuff in the first place. Now if I could only find a copy...

I still think the Orz/Androsynth stuff is really creepy.

Did anyone else keep Fwiffo with you to the end of the game?

I got into it way later than you guys. I played the free Star Control 2 copy that came with an issue of Retrogamer, loved it so much I decided to track down the 3DO version and a system. The only system I could find was a mangled FZ-10 (which I later sold) with a huge crack in the casing. It came wi...

Ended up selling it.

I was trying to find a manual for my loose copy of Flying Nightmares, as I could not even take off, let alone take off and not fall off the ship! So I dug around on the internet, and found a good place that's got quite a few manuals in PDF format. So if you have any loose copies that you can...

The CD-i

I've been thinking of tracking down a Phillips CD-i, but I don't know a whole lot about them. I know there are numerous models and that only a few were meant as game consoles. I also don't know of any worthwhile games for the system (other than the infamous Mario and Zelda games). Can anyone recomme...

Baldies for Jaguar CD.

Great strategy game where you control the bald people and must wipe out the people that have hair. A lot of fun but you'll need a Memory Track cartridge to save.

Iron Storm for the Sega Saturn.

The best WWII strategy game I've ever played. It's a massive game with a large amount of depth and decent customization. It even contains what-if scenarios for Germany and Japan where they invade mainland America and Canada.

Thanks for the help bitrate. The one I have is the one in row #5 (Red Longbox with oversized manual).

Did that version have anything in the jewel case (either on the front, or the back/spine)?

Thanks for the input Lemmi. Upon closer inspection, I've discovered that my copy of Slam 'N Jam does have a jewel case sized manual. The previous owner apparently decided to take it out of the case and put it in the cardboard box instead. Crash 'N Burn however, does have an oversized manual. Anyone ...

Any game recommendations?

As I mentioned in the other thread, I'm trying to expand my 3DO collection. After reading what few reviews I can find for games (mainly just 3DO kid's stuff), I've put together a list of games that sound interesting to me, but since its a relatively large list I figured it couldn't hurt to get some ...

I need help from the collectors

I'm trying to collect 3DO games (just ones I'm interested in), but I only want to own complete copies of games. I've noticed that US 3DO games come in a variety of ways. Some have giant cardboard snap cases (similar to early DVDs), while some have cardboard boxes with a standard jewel case inside. O...
