GameCubed's 3DO Collection

[3DOExp here, I made this for you. You can still edit it, I moved an old post of yours and edited it. Don't worry I used a double post from Is Laserdisc the 3DO of home cinema? so I didn't cut out anything you've said.] Hi all, here are some pictures of Part 1 of my collection. I didn't have room t...

You really can't beat finding something on the side of the road. I wish more people would be so considerate to include the box and manuals for their valuable trash! That player is crazy, I had no idea they made them like that.

Does anyone remember Chex Quest? That was the best free game in a box of cereal ever! It's the Doom of cereal-based shooters (although I think it was built on the Duke Nukem 3D engine).

3DOKid, I'm afraid making a post-count restriction on posting for sale threads will just push the trading to PM's, where the forum members won't be able to keep tabs on what's going on. The other component of that is, although having flash-in-the-pan strangers hawking their wares doesn't much contri...

Can a PC Flightstick work with the 3DO?

I know some of you technical buffs out there have adaptors for using various non-3DO controllers for the 3DO, which makes me curious if there's any way to connect a PC FlightStick Pro to the 3DO? I found one recently, but I really don't do any PC gaming anymore.

I'll have to get together a list of what I've got. I would like to find a copy of the Keep on Laserdisc. I'm a huge fan of Michael Mann, and I rented this movie on VHS long ago. Sadly, it's never been released on DVD or Blu-ray, but I guess there is an LD version.

Is Laserdisc the 3DO of home cinema?

I recently picked up a Laserdisc player and a bunch of movies at a garage sale. I originally got it for novelty's sake, just to see what it was like. I vaguely remember my middle school having one, that was used a couple times to show us documentaries. What was surprising, is that when I got it home...

Mark Hamill did an awesome job in Batman Arkham Asylum. I just find it funny that the current generation systems tout movie-watching abilities and next-gen gaming graphics, yet no one is demanding having in-game movies anymore. I think this is indicative of the game design industry, as I mostly envi...

You ever think about the demise of the FMV acting industry?

I was thinking about this when playing Crash N Burn, how there was once an industry of sorts for actors (of sorts) to appear in the FMV for games. Sometimes you'd get more recognized actors making appearances, like Kirk Cameron popping up in the Horde, but for the most part it was unknown, mostly ba...

"The EA Moist Mullet"? Who would have thought that was a good title for a sampler disc? I guess that might explain its obscurity.
