Definitely both Tetsujin/Iron Angel of the Apocalypse games. They are slow (especially the first one) but have a great atmosphere.

Someone said, either on here or the AtariAge forums that the 3DO and Jaguar compliment each other perfectly. Both out around the same time, both attempted to create the next generation but ended up stuck between the 16-bit and 32-bit gens. There are similar games on each system too. Some great games...

I recently sold my NES and SNES as I rarely played them and while the NES in particular is a big part of gaming history, I find both overrated. Anyway, I don't think I could bring myself to sell any other console, especially the 3DO, Jaguar and Saturn.

I love this game. The levels get better and better though the last few are pretty hard.

Tesujin & Tetsujin Returns

Anyone else really like these games? I completed Tetsujin (aka Iron Angel of the Apocalypse) and I'm now playing through the sequel Tetsujin Returns. I really love the dark atmosphere of these games with the ambient soundtrack and gritty style of graphics. I've heard people bitch about the controls ...

Pretty different from what I remember. Though I haven't played Toy Commander in a while.

On topic, I think Army Men 3d and Army Men: Lock and Load are awesome. Great for multiplayer!

If you can, it's worth getting an S-video cable. I've tested both that and composite on various TVs and the quality ranges from quite noticeable to very noticeable. Results vary but you'll at least get a cleaner image.

edit: nevermind, you got one! :D

I was still wowed by the 3do when I bought one last year. I think it's because the system was underpowered compared to the Saturn and PS1 but there are a lot of games that look better on 3do. I was surprised when I played Starfighter and saw how smooth it all ran and the fact you could go so far in ...

My fav Doom port is probably Doom 64 because it was very unique. I didn't need inferior PC ports because I was playing it on the PC anyway! ;) Although my fav GBA experience was playing linked Doom to completion with my bro. I've read that version is very similar to Jaguar. I'm sure the GBA version...

Just got this Today and have played it for about an hour so far just trying out different things. The controls take some getting used to but apart from that it's awesome. The graphics are vibrant and colourful, the roster is pretty deep and the gameplay is quite simple. There's some cool features, t...

Forza is sterile Yes like modern gaming to be honest. Nothing beats the 93 to 98 period for gaming, the excitement over the first consoles able to do texture mapped polygons, PC 3D graphic cards etc. This, without a doubt! 3do, Jaguar, Saturn, Playstation, N64 and all the advancements with the PC f...

Doom on 3DO

Just got Doom today off eBay and having played 9 levels and the secret level in one sitting I have to say it's not as bad as most people are saying. In fact, it's actually pretty good. The framerate is obviously the biggest problem but It seems about the same as the Saturn version. The screen size d...

I bought this game a couple of days ago off ebay, hopefully I should have it by the weekend. I just wanted to know what everyone thinks of it. From the videos I've seen it has a great soundtrack and visuals and a lot of freedom with it's gameplay, but, is it really as awesome as it looks?
