BioForge on 3DO...

Has anyone here ever played the 1995 DOS game Bioforge? I owned it when it came out, it is a real shame that it is not more well known. It seems like the perfect game for 3DO. Here is a random gameplay video of Bioforge. *not sure how to embed vids here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk9r3_qZ...

Re: Piracy is a crime. Box recreations

Looks good man! This makes me thing I can't believe there isn't a service that remakes old game boxes. A company could make a fortune if they would print you basically any box in existence for $10-$20. Even if the boxes were slighted updated or changed just so they can't be passed off as originals i...

Anyone here have an extra 3DO and need a Creative CR-563

I foolishly sold my 3DO a year or 2 ago, and I'd really like to get one again. It made Wolfenstein 3D fun again! I played it on PC when it was new but the 3DO version is much better. also the best version of Family Feud is on 3DO imo. Need for Speed, Road Rash. I really want a 3DO again! The model I...

Thats what I thought, so all in all it seems like you would be better off just buying a high end Amiga over a CD32. As for Microcosm well you can already play that on the 3DO! 8)

Playing the games at a higher resolution would be a nice feature. I think PSX games look much better when played through an emulator.

Those are fan made redone textures anyways... Am I right? I wouldn't think that would be a problem. Im sure the site they would come from though would not be linkable though due to questionale content. That would be PM material. The sites that host them don't have rom images only the texture packs.

Has anybody tried Starfox 64 3D? That was one of my favorite games of all time, I wonder if the 3D version is good.

You're gonna have to explain why that was such a bad thing to ask for. I'm not asking for roms. There are texture packs for N64 games which improve the graphics. I just wanted to try them out just out of curiosity. Please tell me why this was such a terrible thing to ask for? I looked for them mysel...

Did the CD add-on provide any more hardware capabilities to the Jaguar like the Sega Mega CD did? (more RAM, ...etc) Thats a very good question I would also like to know that. In the AVGN review of the system he commented that he thought it should have just been it's own system. I didn't think that...

Kind of off topic but apparently all versions of Road Rash were ported from the 3DO version. When Road Rash debuted on the 32-bit home game consoles, they were initially ported from the 3DO version of the game. All of these games were called "Road Rash", despite being 4th in the series. Derivative w...

Wow, Hotel Mario on CD-I aka the Atari 5200+

I'm sure you all know of Hotel Mario on the CD-I. At the time the CD-I was supposed to be this cutting edge next gen system. What better way to show that then releasing updated versions of Atari 5200 games. So hotel mario is basically a game that was developed in 1983. Don't believe me well then fea...

It's pretty decent, in each scene you have many choices on how to proceed, for example in the screenshot I posted where he needs to wake wendy. You could use the pencil and draw a rooster to wake her up, or draw an alarm clock etc.. or you could use the eraser to erase the tree branch so the bird wi...
