2. If you've already found the thread you need to post in don't start a new one. 3. If the answer is in that thread write something positive instead of asking if it is true. I wouldn't have made this thread if there wasn't any conflicting information on the internet http://www.sega-16.com/forum/sho...

3DO=Space shooter console?
One thing that I've noticed while doing research on the 3DO game library is that there are a lot of space shooters, and many of them are actually 3DO exclusive. Yet somewhat ironically there aren't (to my knowledge atleast) any traditional shmups. So 3DO sticks out in my mind as "the space shooter c...

Laser strain
I'd like to play through Lucienne's quest but I doubt I can afford a copy and my copy of Gex doesn't work, so I'll have to use burned copies with those two. So I'd like to know is it safe to do so? Do correctly burned games strain the laser of the 3DO? I've heard rumors that burned games will shorte...

Some games did what you speak of (Wolfenstein 3D, as an example). Looks like it was published by Interplay. Alone in the dark and Out of this world had the same thing, both were published by Interplay. I would personally rather avoid long boxes to save space and possibly for the sake of mailing cos...

Sorry for the offtopic but does any one remember the name of the Putt Putt game that was handed out with cereal boxes? I remember that around 98 or 99 they were handing out demos of a Putt Putt game and Heart of Darkness when you bought cornflakes. Both in Europe and America apparently Are there any...

I don't think the Slayer disc had a front cover. It had one of those longer manuals that wouldn't fit in the jewel case. :) I dont see why they couldnt print individual cover art for the CD cases. Not having end labels sucks!I personally dislike the sort of game manuals that also act as cover art a...

I dont own a FZ-10 but I'm positive the memory manager is built in and yes its just like the playstation. The GUI is easy to figure out dont worry. An external memory unit is available for the console so you should keep an eye out for one on your collectors quest. When I say it just like the Playst...

Importing a Japanese 3DO FZ-10 to Europe
I'm about to order a 3DO FZ-10 from Japan as it seems to be the cheapest and easiest option for me (and it plays some games that PAL/NTSC consoles dont play, should I ever want to do that), but after doing some research, I came across some mixed information so I'm not quite sure what to believe. So ...
