I just got a FREE ALG 3DO gun. Any games recommended for it?

I just got a FREE ALG 3DO gun. Any games recommended for it? (and two interact brand 3DO pads for free too).

The only game I have that supports it currently is Mad Dog McCree (well and Policenauts since I hear it does as well, but I'm in no rush to play through it again). Any other recommendations?

Re: People Play Games - Chicago, nice 3DO Collection

Just an fyi...if anyone lives in / around Chicago, People Play Games (google em) has a pretty decent selection of 3DO games, all in really nice shape. 1/2 are in original long box, and all a fair price. Just a "hey, I saw some 3DO shit for sale" heads up for people in the area. The owner is a nice ...

Overall, not as great as Twisted (my fav 3DO game ever!), but still a good game. Actually, in some ways it is slightly better such as offering simultaneous play like Vance mentioned. Characters aren't nearly as good though. A fun group game! :) Yeah, Twisted is my favorite 3DO game as well and up u...

Watch out Sega, Atari, and Nintendo forums...
And NEC and SNK forums too. Some of those are pretty big communities as well.

I have an HDTV and while I've only hooked up one of my 3DOs to it a few times using Svideo there is definitely some noticeable graininess.

I have a pretty decent third party pad for Street Fighter, it's an Interact Performance. The only flaw with the pad is it lacks the headphone jack found on the standard pads.

I've used my goldstar more than anything since I've had it the longest. Since I've had the FZ-10 it's had slightly more use, but mostly due to the fact that it's closer to being to the top of my box of 3DO stuff.

yup but was it in an envelope or a jewel case? many of my boxes got ruined during a basement flood
I thought it was just a copy of the disc and manual with no box and a small jewel case. I could be wrong

Your right for the most part about the Jaguar, though lets get one misconception straightened out from the start; The Jaguar has a 68000 CO-PROCESSOR, that IS NOT the CPU. It is SUPPOSED to be used just for bootstrapping the system; getting the BIOS up and running and handling the controller input/...

Jaguar CD isn't really that interesting of a platform unless you're really into homebrew games. I've had one since 1998 or so after acquiring it inexpensively on ebay. I have Vid Grid, Blue Lightning, Battle Morph, Space Ace, Dragon's Lair, Myst, the Myst demo and Iron Soldier II. From a collectors ...

Sometimes the Goldstar unit won't read a cdr initialy, but it usually will if you try & 2nd or 3rd time. Worked fine with my machine. I'll have to pull it out and try it a few times. Mine reads CDRs fine, in fact better than my FZ-10 What brand of CD-Rs do you use for it? I've used a variety, from ...

ONly in so much that it is playable. Policenauts, so I'm told, is very nice indeed, with a great story but it is completely unplayable for most none Japanese speaking people. Ehh, I wouldn't say it's completely unplayable. I would say that an understanding of Japanese definitely helps. I've played ...

Do you really think it's better than Policenauts as far as games that didn't make the trip over the Pacific?

Hmmm... I'm not really sure, I remember playing a few 3DO titles at the 1993 Summer CES. One of them was a golf game which left me kind of unimpressed at the time since it didn't look any better than 16-bit games in terms of graphics.

We never had a Funcoland in my area...we had Video Game Exchange. I always saw Funcoland's ads in EGM and other gaming magazines. I used to visit St.Louis and see Game X-Change a lot, but those stores usually sucked. I'm not sure if that's the same chain as the one you're reffering to. No, Video Ga...

How to determine?

I have a Goldstar (as well as an FZ-10) how do I determine if mine is one of the models more likely to have freeze ups?
