Re: Upgrade cartridge?

I doubt it. It seems like add-ons never really sell well, at least in the USA.

Re: Is Po'ed any good?

Yeah, it looks like there's no fuel bar in the PS1 version. In the 3DO edition, there's a bar that's right next to the Jetpack Icon in the upper left. The fuel is shared with the flamethrower ammo too.

Bringing up yet another dead topic but I'm really really bored at work.

Anyway, doesn't Crystal Dynamics have a distribution credit on the box for Mad Dog McCree? I swear that it's there.

Re: List your top 3 sound tracks for 3DO

Aw man, no one mentioned Quarantine? That soundtrack is fantastic! Looks like it's up to me!

1. Quarantine
2. Return Fire (SERIOUSLY, GUYS, HOW COULD YOU FORGET THIS ONE?)
3. Star Control 2

Re: Is Po'ed any good?

I think the PS1 version may be easier too. I think you might get unlimited jetpack fuel in that one. Can anyone confirm that/ I forget off the top of my head if that's for sure or not. It's been a while since I've played that version.

Re: Is Po'ed any good?

Ah, reviving dead posts is fun. I've been playing PO'ed the last couple of nights and it is really one of my favorite games. It probably helps that I played it when it came out as a kid and I was the PERFECT age for the fart monsters to seem like the greatest things in the world. The game's always s...

Re: Review - Ruiner Pinball

People enjoy Pinball Fantasies over Ruiner? I can't get into PF and I feel like the tables are really empty. I'm not the biggest pinball guy though, so maybe that's why I like Ruiner more.

Still, nothing beats Crue Ball on Sega Genesis for pinball games!

Yeah, it's a direct sequel. Same characters and everything. I had it on PS1 as a kid and I liked it back then. I tried playing it recently though and it's awful. Absolutely terrible.

Another thing about the 3DO version that is different from, as far as I know, all other versions is that they paced up the general gameplay speed. Which is good! Everything moves a bit faster, the controls respond a bit quicker - the general speed got increased, what makes the game even better. Oh,...

There isn't a rear inlay for Neurodancer. It's a long box with a tray glued on the inside.

Re: I need a 3DO

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but i don't see any selling/trading/marketplace forum on site. anyway, I was forced to sell my FZ-1 last winter when I was unemployed and desperate, and I am looking to get it back. I prefer an FZ-1, but I'd be happy with an FZ-10 too. If anyone has one of...

Wait, really? Everyone hates on that one? That's the only PS game I've ever managed to finish. I'll double recommend this one too.

Have you played Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360? I rather enjoyed that one and I think I put a good 100 hours into it. It starts a little slow (it likes to show off how pretty its graphics are for a few bits of the beginning) but it's got a pretty neat leveling system when certain characters can link skill...

It's a very good port. However, they changed the game's theme quite a bit. Instead of the RTS Puzzle-Platformer cover-based shooter MMO it used to be, it turned into this weird, vapid Choose-Your-Own-Adventure. Right? I can't believe they left out my favorite cut scene on the YouTube version! The p...

So that's what's going on with the video game prices......... Yeah, it's waaaaaay more prevalent on Amazon on eBay because it's easier to know that you're competing with the same item, since it's in that centralized ASIN. I work in IT for a online retailer and we've made pricers and stuff for the v...

Good review. I didn't give the 3DO version much time, but I played it into the ground on the SNES, and then later the Sega CD. I think the reason I didn't get far into the 3DO version is that it lacked the constant streaming in-game music of the SCD version. Still, an excellent game, and one that I...

Review - Flashback: The Quest for Identity

Ah, youth. I remember renting this game on my Super Nintendo multiple times when I was a child. I've always enjoyed cinematic platformers (on a side note, can someone help me come up with a less pretentious name for the genre?) and the opening green first level has always just stuck out in my mind. ...

I think its really hard to compare and the 3do ans the PS. The architecture of both systems is really different. While SNES and Genesis where build for 2D processing the Playstation was a pure 3D machine. The 3do on the other hand was coughed in the middle. With games like space hulk, need for spee...
