Well - now in my Goldstar I soldered in a batteryholder for a new CR2450. The original battery was just fixed on two points which fits perfectly for the holder too. So new battery is in - but the CD wont work anyway... think this is still a problem with the ribbon cable...

Well just didn´t find a solution... I striped the complete unit - the ribbon cable seems to be o.k. (as I can see) I just pulled it out and fixed it again - without any changes. I now saw, that the battery is leaking... you can just see it if you look form down upways - luckily it doesent looks like...

ok - ok - ribbon cable... huh??? hah??? :shock: And now? some posts here? I must go and google... But meanwhile I opend the 3DO - so if I open and close without CD the lence and laser makes some minor movements - if I put a CD in it starts spinning for two or three times but always stops again just ...

...well think 130,- is all right - saw some US NTSC FZ-1 consoles on ebay for more then 250,- and thats the point... I just think this is a little overpriced - no? otherwise... is it just hard to get one a NTSC at all... so mmhh :oops:
