Re: PAL 3DO Collectors
Oh by the way I almost forgot, there's actually 82 games not 81. I have a game in a double CD case, with ELSPA age rating & "This title displays in letterbox format on the 3DO PAL system" printed on the back cover, and it isn't on any lists I can find anywhere only the US & Japan releases. What gam...

they didn't want to port an exact duplicate of the coin op so they removed the background scrolling and some animations. I hate to tell you this, but SSFIIX on 3DO, when it came out, was... almost Arcade Perfect. I mean, if you're going to 'deliberately' sabotage an existing Arcade title for use at...

Hi Zeta. Good to see you here too. There's me, you and Martiniii here. To answer your question, I have a couple of JP1X's (the original) and a couple of JP2X's (the smaller one). The controller components themselves are (I would say) Identical in terms of quality. The JP2X is LITERALLY just a smalle...

A few ideas (trying to keep it in the single screen game design)... A Bomberman Clone - up to 'x' no. of players using Daisy Chain! An Arkanoid Clone - something akin to Impulse X for the Jaguar A Death Tanks Clone - a single screen weapons trajectory based combat title. That would be cool! A Qix cl...

To be honest, I put BOTH the 3DO & PS1 versions on yesterday and it isn't anywhere near as 'COMPLETELY' different as I remember it. However... It's more about...

However, I really am NOT a fan of how those old school ALG titles play
I do love the FMV appeal though...

Yes indeed, and the funny thing was back in the day when those other two came out, everyone i knew at the time raved about the PS1 version, then again when the Saturn version came out with better visuals than the PS1 but not PAL optimised, they all went with that as the best... If you go back and c...

I can see it was said, but what i cant understand is why it was, and then not much later there are near flawless SNK ports on the Saturn, it just seems really unusual that SNK would allow that with no drama at all yet try previously to block it on another console. 100% agreed (as mentioned earlier ...

Take it to pro, you wont ever look back. @NeoGeoMan 8) Are you playing this on a PAL/50hz console, or are you running an NTSC machine? At some point, I hope to get a US FZ-1, as I suspect it will run the majority of my PAL collection correctly. I had a JP unit briefly and, have to say, the in game ...

That's really cool to hear Agreed! :D The Jag version's animation isn't any better than any other, but it does have the benefit of having a higher color count than the Genesis/CD or SNES versions of the game. It's still a solid version. Regardless of which one you play though the game has excellent...
