3DO Tapes

Ok, I have some encoding work ahead of me here... There are 3DO focus group tapes here, "the making of" tapes for certain 3DO games, unreleased 3DO game footage tapes, etc. etc... http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/3DO_VHS/DSC04329_25.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bit...

A lot of you guys were close. It is actually a Skynet add-on WITH the bagel toaster, also known as the "Skybagel". Ok, it is the Karaoke add-on. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/DSC04330_15.jpg Hmmm... maybe this was a little too easy. I think I'll do another thread like this on...

Ok 3DO fans, what is this...

I dug this out of a box recently. Let's see who can guess what it is from the profile picture I took of it below. One hint: It is an official piece of 3DO hardware for the 3DO player and the control pad is there only to give a size reference. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/DSC...

It looks a touch better on the screens than Autobahn Tokio, how does it play? It plays fairly well considering it's supposed to be an upgrade to Autobahn Tokio. The one thing I don't like is the severe reduction in speed when colliding with an object (which you'll see when I finally get the video's...

Amazing! Thanks. It looks like the child of Autobahn Tokio. Thanks Bitrate! Actually, it looks just like Autobahn. Those are the same tracks. Cars look mildly different, but not much It must have been due for release overseas and had a name change in the process. Actually, C-Runner was slated to be...

so does this mean you'll help me build a list like I mentioned in topic 910 ? We could split it between Known Unreleases and Rumored Unreleases. Absolutely, it was your post that got me thinking about doing this thread. As long as the reviews have a youtube clip with them, I'll be good Not a proble...

Unreleased 3DO games known to exist

With the interested in unreleased 3DO games, I thought I would start a thread dedicated to unreleased games that are KNOWN to exist. Sure, there are MANY games like NHL Hockey '96, Isis, Waterworld, Star Trek TNG, etc., etc., that are assumed to exist in some form of completion (and more than likely...

3DO Unreleased: Varuna's Forces

So I've got some unreleased 3DO titles and I'm going to start doing some reviews on them. I thought I would start with this game: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/DSC04257_10.jpg Varuna's Forces. This was due out second quarter 1996 and unfortunately did not see release. I was t...

I didn't know Striker was ever finished and published anywhere. I've seen an FMV of it on one of the demo discs, but that's it.It looks really cool, I wish I could get it, if it was ever finished and released somewhere. Check out this thread I made about 3DO soccer titles. Striker is pictured there...

Japanese 3DO Magazine

Out of the various 3DO publications, this one is by far my favorite... and I can't even read Japanese. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/DSC04223_25.jpg This publication spanned from mid 1994 to mid 1996. They are very high quality magazines jam packed with 3DO information. Each ...

Whatever it's called, it looks like it's just a Kodak Photo CD. It'll probably play on any device that reads them, so it's not a true 3DO release. Yep, it needs to have the 3DO logo http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/3DOLogo.jpg on the front cover of the case in order to be a 3DO...

I'd like to know your opinion on the import games. For the most part, the import soccer games seem to be pretty solid soccer games. I am by no means a soccer game aficionado, nor have I put much time into playing these games. Still, from what I have seen, I think most people who enjoy this type of ...
