Gold "Press Kit" edition of System Rush for the Nokia N-gage. Also came with a CD with the soundtrack of the game I assume. :? (it's still all sealed up)

I've seen a mob in Sydney that manufactures them (step down transformers, that is), and I've sent email enquires to them about a suitable unit considering the specifications of the unit.

The next step is just parting with my cash....

Yep that'll be me. Can't tell you what it is like as I haven't even switched it on yet, despite winning it on 'that auction site' over a year ago. I need to buy a step down transformer (240V to 100V) which is more $$$, before I can even think to switching it on. I have been picking up the odd...

Another 1.5 hours trying to play (and to like playing) Panzer General . I did begin to understand the nuances of this game, but still the fun factor eludes me. The music is annoying but not as annoying as the repeating 'click' that introduce battle animations in the game...I swear its a cue for the ...

I got into the 3do right at the end, so I was lucky to pick up some bargins (at the time) but then the panic also set in and I thought I'd better get as many as I can before I never see them again, hence the hefty payment for Flying Nightmares. Of course this was the days before "that" auction site....

Put in about an hour on Star Control 2 , playing the super melee section. I then tried Panzer General for about an hour and 20 minutes. Most of the time it was listening to the background music, whilst reading the guide, with a quick spasmodic attempt at working the multiple menus in this game. I do...

I don't know where you got your games mattyg, but in Western Australia, Hi Tech World had a fairly good range of games in the mid 90's, or so I thought. There was also a video/games rental shop, which also sold games. I remember going in there to buy one or two cheap to moderately priced games and e...

Another 2 hours playing Pebble Beach Golf Links, the back nine this time again against the wife and the CPU opponent. Also had about 5-10 minutes of Quarantine, whilst waiting for the missus to finish her shower, pre-Pebble Beach.

Hello Tinman - I won't tell if you don't. Tell what.....? :) Yeh! I know what you mean, but if I want to spend some quality time with the wife, on my terms, by challenging her at some video game, then usually it's by playing the 3do and games like twisted, or golf, or even Samurai Shodown (which in...

Yep, me and the missus like it. But then again we also enjoy playing the 3do golf games as well  . What part of twisted don't you like? The humor (or attempt of humor), the gameplay, the concept, Everything! . I probably read your blog entry on it ages ago, you probably outline it there...I'm...

If we can go outside the list but stay below 64 bit, then my lust list reads as 1) 3DO  2) Neo Geo CD :D 3) Saturn :) 4) PSX/PSone :| Although aware of the others I haven't sought them as a possession, but if pressed for a ranking I would go.... 5)Jaguar :| 6)N64 :| 7)CDi :| 8)32X  =9)Pi...

From the very limited time I'm been reading/member of this forum you quickly get the impression of peoples dedication to this console and bitrate's seem exceptional. But I must question the intent of this current topic, as whether it is a purely innocent informative exercise in which case; t...

Hey, Me and the wife were playing this together, a couple of years ago, and we got onto the second disc, got stuck and then we moved, and put the game in storage. We got past this point and think we know the answer...then again it has been a long time. We think you have to have the tracking device t...

Got 2 FZ-1's operating on 240 volts. Had an old Goldstar which required step down but she broke. Can't remember how many games but they pale in significance to some of the devotees here.

Something attracted me to Immercenary in the 90's, and when I got my first secondhand 3do (Goldstar version) it was the first game I bought to start my library. Yes, I found the start "difficult" but it was just a matter of understanding that the game was directing you to return to the lab, so you c...
