I've used two different s video leads on mine a cheap 99p ebay job and a belkin one, gotta say the belkin one looks fantastic, i use the 3do on my sony trinitron CRT but have connected it up in the living room on the viera plasma to game with my mates

My 3do doesnt play any burns i've made be it ISOs burnt from the net, or direct copies of games i own it sucks majorly, could be down to the cheap discs i'm used to using! i'll try with better discs and see what happens either way original discs only for me, besides i've been told playing backups ha...

I would love to see the original need for speed revived, same game, same gamplay FMV, but cleaned up graphics pretty much

yeah my burner is on an i7 imac and it won't burn slow either, the slowest i've burnt on it was probably 16x like you, maybe my games are all fine, just i have a weak laser, can i get replacement lasers? or should i maybe open it up and clean it?

Mines a a japanese FZ1 and i've burnt at the lowest speeds possible from ISO's , maybe i'll try doing a direct backup of one of my existing genuine games and see if that works

BTW i'm not condoning piracy i already bought NFS and return fire off ebay, but they won't get here till next week

I'm thinking maybe i'll try some taiyo yuden discs some top quality ones, they should work, its just a pain, i really don't want to open the console up and use isopropanol alcohol on the lense unless its the only thing that will solve the issue

A sure fire way to make a whole load of coasters is to burn 3do discs for them not to work!, i've tried different speeds, various brands of media, i get nothing! this sucks as my 3do didn't come with need for speed or return fire and i was itching to play them the most along with some other awesome ...
