Re: Supply and demand is "Out of this World!"
I'm not holding my breath for this. Even when he does start another run it will probably take another year after that to get them all to those who paid like last time. I don't think RGC should handle it. Perhaps. But I, for one, am just grateful, full stop, that anyone whatsoever is going to undert...

Stellar 7 was never actually received a PAL release, but have wanted it for some time. Will have to hunt down a JP or US copy at some point (just as a jewel case for US, if it exists?)

Very nice!
Does the game have rear insert artwork as well?
If so, might try and pick up a case-only US copy for my collection at some point...

Hi everyone! While I do own a 3DO and small collection of games, I joined this site to check out the Jaguar subforums. I've been hanging around Jaguar 'communities' for several years and stumbled onto this site in my latest attempt to find Jaguar conversation that's free of community drama. (snipe ...

I won't deny it, that although I don't own a MegaCD, I think my 'taste' in the 3DO & Jag has, invariably, drawn me to the MegaCD over time too. 32-X intrigues me too, but I hear that PAL pricing is horrific!

Re: Need for Speed ports - video comparison
I've always had access to both the 3DO & PS1 versions since way back when. I had a 3DO with NFS and my mate (who got a PS1 before me) ended up getting NFS for his PS1 when it released. Eventually, I bought my own copy too. To be perfectly honest, I really just enjoy both versions BECAUSE they're dif...

I'd ask you to send it to me for "testing purposes", but I'd probably get charged as a terrorist or something when Customs inspects the package. I mean, just look at it! Yeah, it was mentioned on AA. Will pop over there now to see how the discussion has panned out over the last 12 hours or so  But, it's a step in the right direction. I really think the Jag needs an Everdrive. Would definitely allow those who aren't greedy collectors or speculators to have a...

I was just looking at Another World perorder post on AA things are getting out of hand it remind me of the time when 4 play was selling BS/BSG. Did I read this right there are only 200 copy's of Another World? WOW! Yep. RGC only made 200 copies. The thing that left a bit of a bitter aftertaste with...

Re: Question about Lost Eden
I know this probably sounds like blasphemy, but you could do what I do and make a burned copy to see if you'd like it before buying. Or even try on an emulator. Yeah I guess I could. But its funny, while I don't mind emulating for some systems like nes and SNES, the 3DO is one of a few consoles I f...

Re: shareware Heretic for the Jag
I haven't checked up on any of this, but Heretic, presumably, is a registered trademark etc and is the IP of someone else (is it ID?). Maybe there's some legalities and C&D's involved? Might sound a bit extreme, but you never know. It's often dangerous just going all out and recreating someone else'...

I forgot to mention in an earlier post that games published by Panasonic can be easily identified by the product code on the front: FZ-SM = USA FZ-SE = Europe FZ-SJ = Japan I've also come across FZ-SG (Germany) and FZ-SC (Canada) The Daedalus Encounter double case has an FZ-SM code, hence it's just...

We didn't ever loan the stand-alone PA to Namco, although we did analyze games from them. Tekken 3 comes to mind, although frankly I don't know what they were hoping to accomplish... it was already running at 60 fps pretty consistently when I saw it. It was pretty much a poster child for good perfo...

Funnily enough, I thought it was Sculptured Software that did the SNES ports of MK & MKII? MKII, dodgy vocal samples aside, was absolutely superb! 8) I'll agree that the Saturn version, whilst not completely terrible, was a very sloppy/disappointing port. I believe that the PS1 port (is it JPN only?...

Belgium vs USA was an absolute snoozefest. However, those last 20 mins of Extra Time were superb! Initially, I actually felt (by half time), that the USA didn't 'deserve' to go through, as their 3rd part of their game just fell flat every time (i.e. their ability to finish). But, by the time we'd go...

Re: Talking with Mike Fulton, an ex-Atari employee
There were exactly 5 of the original Performance Analyzers built. They were hand-built and considered somewhat fragile and expensive, which is why they weren't made available to developers. We had two at SCEA and the other three were at SCEI. One of the two at SCEA sat on my desk, and the other was...

What do you think? Some dodgy shop keeper slapping on his own sticker? Nah.
