Nobody has mentioned the music in the game, which was the most jarring and irritating part of it for me, or maybe at least the last straw. It was probably the garage bands of folks they knew. This also happened to me with Omikron on Dreamcast. And I don't usually mind mediocre music in games. I mus...

Re: Brain Dead 13

I consider FMV games like this something of a tragedy. When you say "FMV games" this can mean anything with games that benefit from being interactive like Phantasmagoria or D to games that really have no business being games in the first place...I had some fun with Dragon's Lair and Triad Stone/Str...

Ninja Gaiden for Atari Lynx. A port of the original arcade game. It's a poor Final Fight clone that's just not exciting to play. I was disappointed playing it in the arcade and I was disappointed playing it on my Lynx. It's not worth anyone's time, especially when the late games in the series are s...

Re: 3DO dreams

Last night I dreamt I was shopping in some store all their merchandise inside individual glass display cases, and they had a rare signed promo copy of Cyberdillo for $60. I even remember thinking I should ask if anyone of these forums wants me to pass it on to him since, not being a fan of first pe...

Mine would have to be when I first got Star Control 2 from the discount rack at Wal-Mart, ripping off the plastic, and finding that cool little map inside the box. I knew I was gonna be in for something good, but I didn't realize HOW good it would be. I can still remember the first time I got angry ...

The game has a really floaty feel to it and it can be tricky to get out of crashes or avoiding other cars. I personally really like the game though, and the controls and framerate are things I can look past in it. It seems to be one of those love/hate games for sure. If you can get it at a decent pr...

There is one on evilbay, but the seller has yet to respond to my request of selling it outside USA. Sometimes people simply ignore you. As if your money isnt good enough for them or something. I had a Lynx. I think my favorites were "Todd's Adventures In Slime Worls" and "Super Squeek". For graphics wow-ities, I loved Electrocop and Warbirds. Yep, I'm gonna have to second Todd's Adventures in Slime World as well. Neat little exploration game, almost like a Metroid-lite made by Apogee Sof...

I ended up finding a Lynx with 7 games at the game store in town today and I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with the thing. My favorite of the group so far is A.P.B. It's a neat little overhead driving game that feels like a combination of Rally X and Spy Hunter, without the guns. Give it a shot!

Ive never looked at that title, but i BELIEVE its another gameshow parody thing. Someone here will surely know and inform us. Yep, it's more or less an unofficial sequel to Twisted. I stand by my opinion that PO'ed is awful. Its childish and its immature. Pee and Poo type humour is simply not my style. I would not reccomend Sanyo or Goldstar models for beginners at all because certain games are known to have lag on them, for example I heard Casper was kind of ruined playing on a Goldstar. Seconded. Comic books

Does anyone on the board read comic books at all? I stopped back in the store today to ...

Huh. I must be the only person who likes this game, eh? I dunno, I actually like how simple it is. Turn, shoot, turn, shoot, etc. I really liked that Battlezone remake that came out on XBLA a few years ago too and no one agrees with me on that one either.
