Funny you should mention Neo Geo, I saw one, for the first time in my life in the flesh (so to speak), in a Cash Converters store today. It was the AES CD version and was £150!

Ok, here we go. This was quite difficult I have to say, but here's my list and just like everyone else, not in order of preference: 1 ) Creatures 2: Torture Trouble (C64) 2 ) Mayhem In Monsterland (C64) 3 ) Fantasy World Dizzy (C64) 4 ) Bubble Bobble (C64) 5 ) Paradroid (C64) 6 ) Scramble (Vectrex) ...

I was honest and said I only got into Nintendo with the GCN and I love them, I simply meant I remember it all but wasn't a fan back then. I take issue at being told I'm not as big a fan just because I became one with the GCN and not earlier. Since then I've collected old games and consoles, as have ...

Haha yes I have, and I know I have it somewhere! I did a spring clean a few months back and I remember seeing it as it was sitting with other mags of mine from years ago that I'd also got letters and stuff in (my letter was in the mythical #15 of 3DO Magazine!) and so I KNOW I wouldn't have thrown i...

Why is it, whenever we, and when I say 'We' i mean everyone but me, talk about Nintendo, there is an air, ...an air that excludes me, even though this forum is my ship, from the conversation, and all i hear is mutiny. At best. Why? The love for Nintendo runs deep here -- doesn't it? BTW: I love eve...

Well I won the cheaper one, which comes with the manual and Victory Streak but no cards, but by the sounds of it they're not essential. £7.99 plus £2 p&p sounds like a bargain to me! Looking forward to saying goodbye to my social life again.

Thanks everyone, especially 3DO Experience for the offer.

The GC brought me back to Nintendo after I (sorta) passed over the N64 I've liked every Zelda game I've played to varying degrees (except the 2nd one) but Wind Waker is my absolute favorite! :D I have not had as much fun w/my Wii as I did (and still do) w/my GC. Oh don'tt worry the new system uses Wii Remotes as well. Oh I know, mainly for multiplayer though or if a game designer wishes to use them instead of the new controller, but it's still the main selling point. It's like the 3DS, not all developers have to have 3D as it can do so many other things, b...

The name doesn't bother me, haven't read any reports on that from newspapers and magazines and the like, but I know I didn't like "Wii" to begin with, but it grew on me rather quickly. Still, the controller itself does reek of them almost doing a u-turn themselves on their motion controls. I really ...

WCIII - reference cards?

I'm currently watching two eBay listings for this amazing game, however only one of them mentions that the box contains "reference cards". Both listings have the two manuals, but can anyone refresh my memory of what the reference cards were? Any scans available if they're important?

The "HDCP" column is the handicap of the hole, not your own individual handicap. The handicap of a hole ranks its difficulty in comparison to other holes on the course. HDCP 1 is the hardest hole on the course, 18 is the easiest. The red numbers don't seem to be directly related to your score. I'd ...

Retro Gamer's "Perfect Ten Games" for the Jag

So after putting up the magazine's rather strange choices for the 3DO, backed up with 3DOKid's knowledge that the person putting it together didn't actually research too hard into the so-called Perfect Ten, here's the ones they've selected for the Jaguar. I have absolutely no idea what these games a...
