I hope not. because it's one of the 3DO games that I want the worst, but I don't know how rare it is.

Does it matter where I buy an S-Video cable from? Radio Shack has them, but they're a lot more expensive then what I can find on Ebay, for a similar length.

I assume this game is about the same on both consoles; I did look at a scan of the manual of the Jaguar version, and it does not use the keypad. I don't know when I'll get a Jaguar, so I'm wondering if there are any problems/shortcomings with the 3DO port.

Sounds good! Is this game a mix of first person shooting and squad management? That's what it sounds like.

You need the DVC to play Dragon's Lair on CD-i. The game won't run w/out it. It must be said though, that the CD-i version is better than the 3DO one. OK, thanks guys! The spaceship shooter where I had the most problems slamming into things was Star Wars: Rebel Assault II - The Hidden Empire, for the PS1. The environments were very cramped, and the controls were just awful.

I LOVE Novastorm on the 3DO, and I love Psygnosis shooters. So, I'm wondering if the controls, and the game play in general, are as good in Microcosm on the 3DO as their are on Novastorm. As long as the controls are good, I will put this on my to-get list.

The way you can move around to different menu's reminds me of the Namco Museums on the PS1-and that's impressive, since I'm assuming this disc came out in 1993.

Problem solved! I just went to my HDTV's settings and changed the aspect ratio of the screen. Currently, I am using AV cables-how much better do 3DO games look with S-video??

I've tried S-Video, but my HDTV just stretches the image out too much-to the point where it fills the entire screen! I don't know what to do!
