I knew you'd been looking for a complete copy for quite some time ... congrats on finally getting one.

Its a clear sign ... you need to give 3DO another chance.

Seriously though, hope everything works out all right.

I'm looking forward to listening to it. I do hope that you will return to focusing on just one game for future vids though.

I think it controls fine, but it is a sim so the controls might seem a bit sluggish at first

You can always have both. :D I agree. Its worth it, and not just to see the 3DO's superior visuals. The 3DO version also has a couple new cutscenes, most of the missions are structured differently, the AI is much improved, and there are some weapons and enemies that you'll find in the 3DO version t...

And with the 3DO's proud history of PC ports which look as good or better than the originals, it's disappointing to see that the 3DO port of WC3 takes a big cut on the visuals. Maybe this will help with burnt CDs. My Jaguar, especially in the winter has trouble reading some burnt discs 'cold'. Which means I gotta put in a regular Atari release first and let it boot in the CD player and read for a few minutes. Then I can pop in a burnt CD and it will read it fine. My best ...

World Cup Golf is decent. In some ways I prefer it to the T&E Soft games. None can match PGA Tour 96 though.

This is tough one. Some games just have a great art style for instance, but aren't exactly pushing the hardware. The 3DO version of Out of this world comes to mind ... I love the additions to the background, but the character models are meh. The Lost Files of Sherlock Homes is another ... the game h...

Most of my recent acquisitions have been free eShop downloads ... they don't photograph well.

I think its somewhat typical of the first wave of cd software ... a gorgeous looking title thats fairly short on gameplay. I found it to be a ho hum dungeon crawler lacking in variety. As I recall there was a brief load every time you took a step forward also (short enough to not stop one from playi...

I tried wathcing the whole vid, but had had to give up ... it was giving me a headache it was so out of focus. The Waterworld footage does look like that found on the Interplay Buffet demo disc. I didn't get far enough to see Virtuoso or Power Slide.

The user has nearly 200 vids. Just a cursory glance has shown some games they compare top the Prince of Persia count. Lode Runner for instance has nearly 30! I haven't watched the vid, or any of their vids in full, but there seem to be a lot of games with a high port count.
