A 3DO Collection - bitrate

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this. I'm finally getting my 3DO collection out of boxes and sorting through stuff. As I go along I will be taking photos of everything and making notes. I'm going to start off with photos of US released long box games. The picture below is what I have retrie...

I just uploaded the opening video sequence for this game. The link can be found at the bottom of the opening post in this thread.
The video capture is pretty poor, so I may look into recapturing with a better encoder later.
Enjoy

An FTP specializing in obscure 3DO titles and Korean prostitution... there has to be some sort of law against something there. where on earth do you get this stuff? Rare import Interactive titles

Here's a pic of some import titles that I found at the bottom of one of my 3DO boxes. Thought I would post a pic as I have never seen them on Ebay or anywhere else online for that matter. I'm also curious to see if anyone here knows if more than 3 titles were made in the series (for the 3DO). The di...

3DO game: Armageddon ?

I bought this game recently as I do not believe I have seen it before. Another Korean LG game. I have only had a chance to play it for a short period of time, but it appears to be an on-rails shooter type game. Has anyone else heard of it before or have any information on it? A quick google search y...

Here is a pic of the game contents inside of a brand new Goldstar unit. The games came in jewel cases with the "Not For Resale" stickers and were held inside of the small black 3DO box at the top of the picture. The game manuals are inside of the plastic bag with the console manual and various docum...

First game you played on 3DO ?

Ok, what was the first game that you played on a 3DO and what were your impressions? This doesn't have to be the first game that you bought, or first game that you played on your own 3DO system - but rather the first game you played on any 3DO system (ie. store, friends 3DO system). The first game t...

Yep, there is a hard disk, but it is under the main board and I got lazy and didn't take the main board out because of a bunch of tabs and screws that hold it in place.
I'll give the software a shot as soon as I dig it out.

Hello, and welcome!

They sold the 3DO in a grocery store ? I haven't heard that one before.
Not to worry, 99% of 3DO games (opened) cost much less than $40.

It's funny how polarizing this game is on people. I don't think I have ever come across another game with so many on either side of the fence and no one actually ON the fence. I appreciate certain aspects of the game, but the whole "use your family and friends as the characters" bit really turns me ...

Classic Gaming Expo - Anyone here going?

How 'bout it? Anyone planning on going? I'm going, and it would be great to not be the only 3DO fan in attendance. I am 100% going this time. I have tried to attend two times in the past and wound up not being able to go. I've already booked a room and pre-registered on the CGE website. It's in Las ...

I keep digging through the boxes and keep finding games I purchased years ago and forgot I had  Here's one that I haven't seen anywhere else before. It says RPG on the front of the case. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it's still factory sealed and I don't really feel like opening it to find ou...

I'm curious, what kind of differences are there between the arcade version of Primal Rage and the version for the 3DO? More like Tekken and VF? Less like the pile of crap it is? I'd go so far as to say that if you have the Flight stick that Primal Rage is bettter than Tekken and VF. In fact, it easi...

I know... its gross overkill when you compare the technology with the applications. The grand intention though, was to have a highly interactive machine where the user can design a house, play a game, order a car, make coffee, etc, etc. In terms of game playing on this unit, there is a member on thi...
