is there a limit on how large files can be on megaupload? I have an account, but it's not a pro or gold one (whatever they are called).

Doesn't the 3DO also use a higher standard resolution than the Saturn and PlayStation? That would theoretically be why 3D visuals look sharper on the system.

Novastorm on the PlayStation is a different game. Same kind of gameplay, concept, etc., but the video is redone (if I remember right), the firepower is much larger and shoots much more rapidly, etc. As far as the original Need for Speed port, I can't say. I watched the Lazy Game Reviews comparison b...

Torus games, huh? Interesting. They did the first person shooter Ashen for the N-Gage, and I believe they were responsible for some of the FPS ports to the GBA. It certainly would have been nice if Killing Time came out for the PS or Saturn, if only in hopes that the framerate would have been improv...

Nah, it's definitely rendered with polygons in real-time. Asides from the signature 3DO pixelation on the polygons themselves, the camera angle changes depending on where you are on the track (for instance, you can rock it to the left and the right depending on how far to one side of the track you a...

Ah, bummer. I guess I will have to see about tracking down the PC version (and hope compatibility mode works on the newer operating systems).. Or just play the 3DO version in very small bursts.

Japanese Killing Time.. Better framerate, or just rumor?

I hear the Japanese version of Killing Time has a better framerate. Is this just rumor, or truth? Honestly, I picked up the US version today.. Finally managed to make it inside the mansion, but damn, the framerate gets worse once you get in. What the helllllllll. Seriously. I really want to give thi...

Yeah, supposedly there are some hefty compatibility issues with this pack. There's been a lot of talk of it over at the Steam user forums (where it is also sold). For a penny though, it wouldn't hurt to try it.

I recall there being SMS emulators for the original PlayStation, but they were abysmal at best.. I would maybe think it would be a better idea to start smaller. Maybe the 2600 or something along those lines? :)

This is a neat one with some decent qualities. The sound is fitting I suppose, and the physics are much better than Real Pinball. The tiny, tiny flippers however make it difficult to aim properly (And it's weird getting the ball to shoot up the table appropriately), but with a little practice it see...

I finally got around to trying this out, and while the Japanese style, visuals and some of the tunes appeal to me, the physics in this game are so bad it ruins the experience, completely. It's damn-near impossible to aim the ball, and it feels like you are always trying to push it through water. The...

Hm, interesting. Maybe I will think about it. I ended up checking out some videos, but the hefty amount of cutscenes (that I would most-likely not understand even if I tried) is the main deterrent. Well, it's not expensive, maybe $15 *tops* after shipping.. We'll see if I can keep my eBay Buy-It-Now...

What kind of game is Balzerion? I'm curious because it seems to be pretty common (It's on eBay for cheap). Also, while not exclusive to Japan, I imported Escape From Monster Manor. The Japanese version has some cool box art, and asides from a few extra bits of Japanese text on the main menus and int...

I always assumed the track was textured because it moves left to right as you move the car across the track, it doesn't appear to be streaming fmv. Yeah, and the framerate also fluctuates a bit too, which probably wouldn't be the case if it was steaming video (like Mega Race does it). Any tips on u...
