Re: Let's Play - Phoenix 3
This should be especially interesting, since it was the reverse for me. I thought the platforming sections had potential, but found the space combat to be very weak and boring. It'll be interesting to hear your take on it. Well they both had potential from what I seen. The platformer seemed less de...

Re: Road Rash getting back into it.
I'm working through both the Saturn and 3do version simultaneously. I've had the Saturn version for years and never finished it. Mostly because I take a break and in the interim the damn backup battery in the Saturn goes dead.

I just got this. I haven't had a chance to play it much. Got through the training and working on the first level. Been wanting to play this game for years.
The new local store has Starfighter as well. They got quite a bit of stuff at competitive prices for being local.

It will be interesting to see how the Chahi endorsed Jaguar version of OOTW stacks up to the 3do version in terms of gameplay, not cut cut scenes.
If they ever manage to ship it.

Here in Beaverton Oregon a new Retro Gaming shop opened. They have WC3 there for 3do along with tons of other retro systems. They have it for like $22 with other games for just about every system. I'll be pissing away a lot of money there.

Only 25 minutes in and this is again one of the most informative and interesting videogame commentary videos I've ever heard and seen. Awesome to hear the inside stories such as the bike being totalled about a game that is so legendary.

Re: Need for Speed ports - video comparison
We have not looked into it but we briefly raced 2 player. I think they had all the A.I. enemies included in the race. I hate it when its lone races with no A.I. in the mix. Thats what I liked about World Tour Racing on the Jaguar. Even in two player split screen it had the full compliment of AI oppo...

Re: Need for Speed ports - video comparison
I grabbed this at the PRGE for my cousins PS2. (The original, first version). I was going to get the 3do version but they wanted $35 for a either one of two copies. Both look like they had their long boxes crushed. The one that had a manual looked like it had been used for toilet paper. So I passed....

Re: Naughty Dog talks 3do development
I remember interview with them in GameFan mag back in the day when they were develop WOTW. They were brand new and really arrogant. It was interesting though. I remember them bashing the Jaguar. Incorrectly I might add. They were making the same old mistake of thinking Atari was adding two 32-bit pr...

Shush now. What the Jaguar needs is more potential developers. Along with the 3DO of course. Just what the Jaguar needs. My Little pony! To the maker of the game, this in no way reflects a negative thing about you making a game, I just hate MLP. My Son is one of those Bronies and it drives me up the...

Any chance for a Jaguar port? :D A new update is available with 5 more screens + a little demo included. Download it I've downloaded it. Now what? Just extract the files, burn them to CD, and pop it in my FZ-1? (Sorry for the stupid question but I'm new to this and don't want to risk screwing someth...

Anyways he brought him there to get help up and running with development stuff. I got him all set up and able to run and compile code and how to use the emulat...

Re: Homebrew game - Where's Derpy (Unofficial Port)
Maybe this will help with burnt CDs. My Jaguar, especially in the winter has trouble reading some burnt discs 'cold'. Which means I gotta put in a regular Atari release first and let it boot in the CD player and read for a few minutes. Then I can pop in a burnt CD and it will read it fine. My best g...
