Re: Let's Play - Monster Manor
The reason I don't like Cybermorphs sequel, Battlemorph on the Jaguar is because it should of been more like what Starfighter was on the 3do. I dunno.. I kind of liked it [a lot more than Cybermorph] because it was more of what Cybermorph probably should have been. Music in the background, more pat...

Re: Blade Force?
Wasn't Blade Force and Killing Time considered two of the best games of that Generation? I doubt it ... although I do remember Blade Force was hyped at E3 with it's crazy flyig contraption that show goers could try, and got a ton of praise from mags like Game Players and Die Hard Game Fan in partic...

Re: Robinson's Requiem-3DO or Jaguar version??...
I really want to get this game, but I'm wondering if I should get it for the 3DO or the Jaguar. The Jaguar version was done by Songbird Productions (http://songbird-productions.com/robreq.shtml). The keypad on the Jaguar controller looks ideal for this type of game, but the 3DO, of course, has the ...

Re: Wireframe Polygons
I think the 3DO is going to be able to do a wider variety of texture maps because it has 1gb vram which is faster than regular ram and the Jag has no vram. I dont believe it would be able to do as wide a variety of textures as well. However I think if the Jags HS:CD were really reworked to max it ou...

Re: Soccer Kid
Can anybody make a side by side comparison of the Jag/3DO games? Like they do with the Saturn/PSX? I would love to see that. I want to get Soccer Kid after Ewhac and Gammadev were playing it. One of them really loved it and so now I want to get it.

Re: I confess ... Cybermorph is actually good.
Its a decent shooter/flyer game IMO and back in 94 it was impressive with all the polygons flying around at you. There was not much like it at the time. And some of the bosses they put a little thought into with their weaknesses and such. I remember stopping at one spot where I had gotten where the ...

Jaguar/skunkboard debugging using m68k gcc fully functional.
I don't know if anyone here is interested in this but I recently got the latest m68k ELF gcc working with the skunkboard and debug. With the help of a few awesome people GCC now works natively with the Jaguar and Skunkboard. http://www.jaguarsector.com/index.php?showtopic=33796 Using the m68k GCC co...

Haha. Yeah I like games that are simpler. To me WMCJ is somewhat like a 3D NBA Jam. With MK style slam dunk fatalities. That I'm almost never able to pull off... damn ... it...

I hope it's just cause nobody's played this underwhelming game, and not because my review sucks. :P Surely they wouldn't be reading the review if they own the game already? :P I liked the review. Re: Review - Ruiner Pinball
That is about it as far as demonstrating any sort of console strength though. The visuals disappoint and I see no 64-bit enhancements (in fact I’ve seen better graphics from 16-bit systems) For one, where are the assortment of rich colors found in Pinball Fantasies? Ruiner Pinballs colors are garis...

Re:
I'll give it a comment. I like WMCJ. I think it plays very well with a friend. My friend and I have a blast with it when we play. It is similiar to NBA Jam in how it plays except more 3D. Not bad single player once you get into it either. As for the graphics, they are bitmaps which is why they are m...

I would add, that a new 3DO is far cheaper than the going rate of Luncienne Quest. I would not hesitate to play CDR's. Just use best practices when making these CDR's. Burn at 2-4x, not 48x or whatever. Really? I got lucky on my deal but usually used 3DOs seem to go for $150+. Even at the Potland R...

Well there is no telling what might yet be with Duranik and the Jag. They say they are watching the Impulse X sales to see whether to move forward on the Jaguar. With what, I do not know. impulse X is a simple but polished looking arkanoid. Not sure many Jag people are going to jump on that. Perhap...

Message from Dr Typo: Here is my latest game, Fallen Angels. It is a remake of the famous 8-bit game "Rescue on Fractalus". You must rescue stranded pilots on the enemy planet. This game can be loaded to the Jaguar RAM using a Skunkboard, BJL kit or a JagCD (after conversion to a CD image). There wa...
