Isn't it a direct port? As far as control goes, you won't find a more simple game than Starblade, so I'm not sure how the could mess it up ... d-pad and 1 button only, lol. Never bothered to explore it much ... there are only so many psx ports I could play before I realized the original 3DO version...

http://www.estarland.com/ has quite a few. Their prices aren't very good on 3DO stuff for the most part. You do get free shipping on orders over $25 though. Collectors Cards and Games is good, too. Like stated above, he will have to validate whether he actually has them though. Prices are decent ho...

I'm not a collector, and I'm finding it to be very difficult to get 3DO games that only have the disc and instructions, which is all I need-not the huge long boxes. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Compared to the other home console ports, like the Jaguar and the Sega Genesis. I mean, good in terms of it's frame rate and it's controls.

I'd like to know that, too. Yeah, it really seems like you'd need a mouse to properly play this game. Too bad that the 3DO port doesn't support the 3DO mouse.

Wow, I didn't know that. The cross hairs look a lot bigger, so it looks like it would be easier to aim at enemies. So, the controls aren't any better?

I'm thinking that it HAS to be better then Draxxon's Revenge on the 3DO, but that doesn't mean that it's a good game.

I LOVE this game, but I got it off of Ebay and it did not come with an instruction manual, so I don't know if you can save your game. The game only seems to save your profile, in terms of high scores, but I can't seem save in terms of picking up where I left off-which would be really helpful.
