I bought my FZ-01 in '93 and the controller works just fine, so does the others I got from trades and sales. The Jaguar controller can be good but mostly it seemed to be clumsy, especially if you don't have the overlay, personally I've found the best standard controller (not counting joysticks and ...

Maybe we would to if we could ever play it. Oh and it's spelled Shodown. Truth be told, I always preferred it's original title... Samurai Spirits (サムライスピリツ) But then lest we forget Samurai Spirits has it's own typo too.. "VICTOLY" Allow me a typo or two dozen. After all hukt un fahnix...

I have never had a problem with the Panasonic controllers. I hear about people saying they had to loosen the screws but they've always been fine for me. Maybe it was a European thing? Actually, the original release 3DO controllers were a bit stiff, but they seemed to get a little better later in 3D...

I think Freedo suffered from the same fate as DreamSNES did. A lot of really impatient people demanding results makes it less and less fun or interesting for the programmers to do. Other projects and (god forbid!) real life get more and more attention until it just makes perfect sense to kill the pr...

Nice collection, I've only been about to find about 10% of my mags so far. A LOT to go through. before my schedule went to hell, I had started a scanning project for the Japanese 3DO mags (I posted a preview of issue zero quite a while back), so that had my mags scattered about quite a bit. I believ...

Character Icons
Just a quick thought, anyone interested in a collection of user icons from Eye of Typhoon? As you can see from the one I use, they're quite detailed. Converted them a while back, and they've just been sitting on my HD.

Here's some more mags with 3DO intrest. Admittedly Dengenki-Oh covered a lot of systems, but some nice 3DO articles in each, including a large coverage of the Sanyo TRY system. http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/GirDraxa/3DOmag2.jpg Oh, and here's some oddities. SNK promo Laserdiscs. Since the ...

I think in Japan they are Telephone cards. I THINK. They hand them out free sometimes. When I went to Japan last I came back with great piles of these (non-3DO mind you) and more tissues than I could sensibly carry. You're right, they are just phone access cards. They're for access to public phones...

LOL Anyhow, here's some more of what you're missing bitrate, going through some of my storage this weekend, so I might be able to find all of these. http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv54/GirDraxa/3domag1.jpg Bonus if yo...

I found the PC version of the 3DO HAS Steering Wheel. Convertible if you want to take the time. Drax I have that steering wheel, do you have some sort of instructions for converting it? Aparently there are two 'other' versions of the wheel. One Nintendo, and one PC. I'd sold the PC one to a friend ...

LOL, I agree. But then I suppose I am biased. A text review with a demonstration video I think is better. There's only a few of these people who are 'talk show' worthy. Bitrate's case in point about the reviewer who didn't research comments before posting the review is just one of the many flawed vi...

I believe there are either 3 or 4 more. Sadly the last one (which I believe you have, I'll when I'm home tonight) is mostly faked up, with poorly drawn images regarding the coming m2. Those that come to mind include one with a large writeup on Autobahn Tokio (including cover and tournament info) and...

Are there two possible failures? I can get it to display the BannerScreen, but it won't run the program. Would this be a problem with the signatures file? This is the problem I ran into. I would get it to the banner screen, then FAIL. A couple tests continued to load for a while, then reset, but mo...

Heh, true true. I was hoping for an early version of it when I bought it. I found it interesting the subtle differences in the demo for Sailor Moon. Seemed like a slightly earlier build. YuYu seems more like a direct step down from the final game itself. Eh, I guess we can't watch the development of...

The MadCatz 6-button is my fav of the 3do controllers, my only complaint about it would be it feels brittle in your hands, though it's surprizingly durable. If you can get it (there seemed to have been a LOT in Australia about a year ago) the Sega Genesis adapter is worth the money. The 6-button Gen...

I got it to work. It works, if I extract the image, and rebuild it before exiting the program. CDOTY, when you rebuild the image, you have to select the folder with your files in it and open it before you click the build button. if you just select the folder, but the files in it are not showing, it...
