The original Tenchu Stealth Assassins on the PSX has to be mentioned here. Its not the prettiest or the solidest of games but has all the right ideas and is still it better than all the later installments. Choose from 2 ninjas and try completing various missions without being seen, at all. Very, ver...

Blades of Steel on the NES is still a favorite of mine. Great visuals, sound and 2 player is still cracking. This ice hockey game is better than some of the later NHL offerings.

Outlander on the Mega Drive is still bags of fun to play. Its basically The Road Warrior where you have to make it across a wasteland picking up fuel and ammo as you battle the lawless road gangs. Its great being able to shotgun the bikers thru the side windows whilst driving the car.

Todd's Adventures in Slime World on the Lynx is still fab. Crazy but beautiful level design with top notch visuals and gameplay.
It completely outshines the Mega Drive version.

I definitely want to have my 3do modded now, even just to play music cds thru the digital out would make me smile. The RGB mod would be nice aswell.
So would finding a local modding service.

I'm sure i read somewhere that the 3do's analogue outs are set too high thus leading to the popping during audio playback..... I've always had my consoles hooked up to an amp since the Mega Drive days but with the 3do I always had to enable analogue attenuation on the amp to help dampen the signal f...

What a fabulous mod my friend I would love to hear my 3do pumping out digital Pro Logic as I cut down those pesky genestealers with my twin bolter. A few questions come to mind though, 1. Does using the digital out mod eliminate the 'popping' that I hear when using the analogue outs? 2. Is there any...

Electro Cop on the Atari Lynx is worth a good look, for an early title it shows off how impressive the Lynx hardware is.
The game involves hacking doors jacking into computers and blasting bad guys thru the many levels of the Megacorp building as you hunt another robot. Check it out.

I always loved Golden Axe, more on the master system than the mega drive as it just felt more playable. Sonic is still impressive and a very good platformer as well. Most of all the master system, in my opinion, still has the greatest Double Dragon on any system. Almost as good as Target Renegade on...

Yeah I dont want to melt the 3do when i plug it in. I've always assumed that the Japs use the same kind of power plugs and same power voltage as the US.

Jap FZ-1 power supply?

Quick question guys I'm thinking of buying a Jap FZ-1 to add to my collection I already have the Pal and US version so I'm just wanting to know if the stepdown transformer I use for the US machine will be suitable for powering its Japanese counterpart?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Hope I didn't come across as a Sony basher there, I've played plenty playstation over the years but I just never got sucked into the hype of the fashionable grey console. I actually sold my first 3do and CD32 to raise cash for the impending M2 release that never happened...

Evening all. First of all i have to congratulate everyone involved in the creation and continuing greatness of this forum as its nice to know there are still plenty of like minded 3DO owners out there. I'm another 70's child who was brought up owning or playing just about every computer/console/hand...
