Hey man, you also forgot the awesoem Iron Soldier 2, which was sweet, like candy, to quote a well known Gecko around these parts. The Jaguar CD has quite a few games on it that are not on the 3DO man. Just because you havea 3DO doesn't mean you can't have a Jaguar CD man. What is all the hate for t...

Review - Onside Soccer Beta
When I was a kid, I used to play soccer (football to the rest of the world), and I played it... BADLY. heh. Well, I thougth I would take another go at it in the virtual world and give Onside Soccer it's first review. Does it measure up to the 3DO FIFA standards? Well, yes & no. Let me first say that...

Review - Powerslide Beta
First and foremost, I will point out that sound was not active in this beta. However, I have sampled the sounds and music that was to have been used in the game. It did show alot of potential. In game control was still early in development, but definitly seemed on the right track with the Rally feel...

Find? No reason to go looking. I've made a lot of guru codes in the past for 3DO TODAY, and had a few new ones for THE TOWER and AUTOBAHN TOKIO posted on the Collective. I renew my offer too, anyone who wants guru codes written for a game (it MUST have a save file), I will give it a shot time permit...

Heh, actually it plays a lot like the classic TRACK & FIELD of the 80s, which I was a huge fan of. So, most of the game is pretty easy for me. Javelin is tough to get the hang of, but pretty fun. Plus, the game has a bit of an RPG element to it that I did not show. If you look on the startup screen ...

I cut out the tour of the OPTIONS and had to do several edits for time. The long distance run would have been a video unto itself otherwise.

I voted for Killing Time. PO'ed would be my second, if for nothing else, getting to watch it's development and how it grew from the POS FPS it started out as, to a reasonable game. (plus the Rocket Gun was too cool) Missing a few other titles like ESCAPE FROM MONSTER MANOR for example. But I digress...

I will get the website up when the space becomes available soon. :) Thanks for your intrest. Side note : Advice for the players of Powerslide, if they did not enable the flight stick or steering wheel in their release, try playing with the shoulder buttons for steering. The D-Pad rotates the on scre...

Hey, remember the 3DO was pioneering in a lot of uncharted territory. For Example : Anyone else remember 3DO's venture into interactive set-top box for cable tv. (It'd be intresting find the Scientific Atlanta boxes from Omaha. Yes?) They had a lot going for them, just they had mistakes others learn...

The "previously unreleased" and "newly encrypted and licensed" genre. Oh... you mean genre, genre... well that would be sports. 8-P It's not mentioned in that "other games oldergames should be publishing" thread, mostly due to the fact that few people know it exists. :D It's bundled for a very limi...

I agree. Most American and UK ads I've seen miss the point. But then I'm thinking they weren't marketing it just for kids, but trying to blend "for the kids" & for the "hip 20-30 year old" and they failed miserably. Check out the partial upload of the Japanese 3DO mag I did. They had it marketed abo...

I don’t recall Montana Jones ever having any side scrolling, just 2-D cartoon parts and 3-D running around. I find that game to be highly overrated anyway. Casper is a top view game. I really didn't care for Casper (as you could probably guess), but it still can entertain most people who are platfo...

Review - 3DO GAMES: DECATHLON (beta)
3DO GAMES: DECATHLON shows so much promise, and realisticly shows why the 3DO still had a fighting chance in the console market. For it's time, the graphics were top notch, and even today, they're still pretty good. Incorporating a broadcast TV like presentation not done (well, not done really good)...

rofl theres that one minigame or somecrap in the penn and teller thing where you have to drive thru the desert for around 8 hours. Haha, awesome. Truth be told, Sanyo baseball looks and plays (sadly) alot like the early 3D baseball games for Saturn. Slow, choppy and very clunkily mechanical. PBVS is a much better, more fun game, more akin to the RBI series. A lot of extra features like Home Run Derby and such make it a nice game to just pick ...

Hmm, platformers, lets see : I guess HOUSEKEEPER could count as one, though really its more like a MANIAC MANSION clone. So I guess you could also include MONTANA JONES. Though its part 3D-ish too. Theres CASPER, though it could be iffy on calling that one a platformer. Actually its kinda iffy calli...
