M2 IMSA Racing download

Post by NikeX » Mon Jul 26, 2010 5:49 pm

Friends, it's time to end the so exclusive egomanicial M2 owners snobbism!

This is what I got from Mr. Werner (former M2 guy):

Download the M2 game "IMSA Racing" here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RHAQQ3IW
474.22 MB Zip file - which becomes 672 MB afterwards
burn it with 40 x speed NERO

UPDATE: NEW DOWNLOAD ADRESS: Now dead.

UPDATE: NEW WORKING DOWNLOAD ADRESS:Now dead.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/0diesj

NEW DOWNLOAD: soon in one hour on https://mab.to/YkKwcMWwZ (edit by NikeX Oct. 12th 2016)

This is me playing it with my M2 Player and M2 Controller:

Here is the message from Mr. Alex Werner, who I know via e-mail since early 2008,
and this goes to the 3DO Zone community here and everywhere:

ok, I've just started uploading "imsa m2 iso". Assuming it all works properly,
please make this as freely available to anyone who wants it as possible. Thanks!"

Alex Werner - Sunday July 25th 2010 - he also made the 2D shooter for M2.

NikeX,
with kind regards to the 3DO community worldwide

Yes, this is very cool.. I was personally unaware that some M2 games were as complete as they are.. The racer above looks very playable, going by that video, and it runs great, too.

Absolutely. NikeX is very generous to have shared this.

Please check out the bottom of the page in the following thread for important information about IMSA and WindowsKiller. The information starts with my big post near the bottom:

There must be a way to copy / rebuild M2 proto pads, so that as many people as possible can play this. But I don't know how. I'm gonna upload a new video today.

Thanks people. Today my girlfriend came into my flat saying: "What you still playing with your Em Two O." I looked at her, she looked at me. "You never play Wii with me" she added. So we're playing Dead Space again. And Sonic Racing.

No need to be so acid mr. 3dokid...i remember a m2 add-on would be released for standard 3do. My 3do is broken so i cant test. I just wanna know if disk would boot and then some message would appear.

Yeah... but you're still assuming that the BIOS would be forward compatible. We've threatened to ban Trev for less... ;)

Sorry for not knowing that...some add-ons might recognizes some data inside disk or carts...like 32x carts being reconized, at least sound data on genesis.
Anyway if you are going feel yourself all powerful for banishing me for asking something, do as you wish.
