WIP Wormhole 2000 (Gyruss clone)

It does float! And doesn't get soggy in milk! :)

Wormhole 2000. Can't like this one enough.

The above video was removed by the creator, but this is apparently the final version:

Are those Zentanyx images made by Jason Data for "Native Spirit" in the background?

My first impression was, "I hope not." It's rather jarring to have the 8/16 bit images seen over top of 32/64 bit images. I would have to say the "Wormhole 2000" game appears to use the source material from NASA.

Did the developers make any attempt to update the Gyruss graphics other than the background images?

FYI: Jupiter does have a ring not used in Native Spirit for a reason; The game was going to add a ring to fly through, between the planet and the ring, but the slowdown prevented that update from ever happening. Gyruss/Wormhole 2000 uses Jupiter without the ring for no reason. It looks strange to anyone familiar with the solar system.

Played the hell out of this game when it first arrived. Got a pretty outstanding high score. Haven't seen it matched yet:

Nice.

I'm reluctant to buy because of the bugs.
