I want this game! Honestly though, is it worth the cost? Reviews seem a tad sketchy on enemies (are they all robots?) and also on level variety (screenshots seem to all look very similar) Also, is it too easy? I wanna go in w/proper expectations ...

Controls are poor, levels annoying, sound effects are a mix of really good and really bad, but the graphics are neat. Like a very good looking SNES game. The box art is awesome, I like sidescrollers a lot but I just couldn't stand the poor controls, anyone who's played an Action52 knows what I mean.

Hyperforce is what it is. Another game to play that is not horrible, not brillant, but fun.

If it requires the same level of patience and work to squeak out some fun than I may have to pass ...
I agree though, It gave me similar vibes.

I played all the way through Pheonix 3 and actually liked that one... not the music or FMV though
IMO Hyperforce is a little too generic for its' own good, reminds me of the countless me-too games of the Genesis/SNES generation.
