I was thinking of painting my Jaguar to look something like this (I made that in Photoshop).

Has anyone made any custom Jaguar bodies? Feel free to post any other custom bodies you've made too

Kinda late in mentioning this I know, but the only problem I see is if you ever decide to get the CD add-on, it'll cover some of the art at best, and scratch it off at worst. Still, if you're never going to add the CD to that particular unit, go for it, if you haven't already.

As for other custom Jags, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite so artistic. A few people have painted their Jag a different color... metallic green comes to mind. If I run across any pics, I'll let you know.

Smeg

or you could paint it like this, and ask people if they would like to play a game on dental equipment :D

Wow, I had totally forgotten about that thing! What a trip! The Dental Jag.. really, Atari should've thought of it themselves. Think of the ad campaign:

Your kids hate to brush their teeth, but they love playing video games. Now, Atari has combined the two... Dental Jaguar!

The controller would've taken some getting used to... certainly no more sharing! :D

It WAS a dental imaging system made by a company called Imagin Systems. (I say WAS because it appears they have discontinued it... at least it's not on their website anymore.) They bought the molding plates and gave the Jag case a brief new life.

In fact, IIRC, a rep from the company went on AA to see if there would be any interest in them making different colored Jag cases. Nothing ever came of it, though.

Either you can go onto Atari Age and search for "Imagin" and you'll find threads on it, or I think this link will work, even if you aren't a member of AtariAge:

http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/11 ... try1442752

And if it doesn't work, I also think you can find info on the Jaguar Wiki page.

Cheers,
Smeg
