Jag DOOM networking

Post by Walter_j64bit » Sun Aug 03, 2014 2:11 pm

Maybe someone can help me out, I've never had any luck with networking Jag DOOM, I can't seem to get the my Jags to get a connection when I'm using two catboxes but I can get a network game run just fine when using the Jaglink, any ideas?

Does the Catbox offer compatibility for straight system link gameplay, ala the Jaglink (i.e., one console to one console)? I was under the impression it was used mainly for multi-console networking (3+) and thus DOOM might not recognize it since it probably uses different protocols. I am probably wrong though, I've never owned a Catbox.

I've never tried mine w/ Catbox or Scatbox or even JagLink 2.
We need to sort it all out via one of Kevincal's lists 8)
