Thank You, Everyone!

Hi All!
I forgot to come back here and thank all of you for your assistance on picking out 3DO Christmas gifts for my brother's collection.

I went a bit overboard, buying him a total of seven long-boxed titles. But everytime I'd buy something, I'd find an even better deal a couple days later.

I started by buying Dragon Lore, Night Trap, Jurassic Park Interactive for $65 with shipping. I really wanted to get him Night Trap, and had to outbid for the copy I had my eyes on, winning at around $25. The other two were in the $10-15 range. (Shipping was quite high, and the guy put them diagonally in a too-short box, but they arrived intact.)

Then, I found a copy of Cyberdillo. I know, I know... but after seeing/reading the warnings, I just HAD to, y'know? (I'll let you know if my brother ends up hating me. :) ) Actually, you'll find this interesting. Remember that eBay seller godblessamerica9112001 ? He's the one who had that massive 3DO collection for like $8000, and kept ending auctions early to up the price. Well, he had Cyderdillo that he ended early to relist at $21.

Of course, it didn't sell for that price, so he relisted it at $5. I bid, and actually had to outbid two people, if you can believe that. But I won it for $10. When I looked at his other auctions, he had Madden that didn't sell, so I offered him $5. Not only did he accept that, but he ALSO gave me a copy of FIFA for FREE. So with shipping, I got those three games for $20.

I've been meaning to come here and tell you about godblessamerica9112001's good deed. He also told me he put that ridiculous price of the massive collection, just to see if anyone would bite.

Anyway, I finished up with a $5 copy of Zhadnost at my local Game Hits store.

SO I'm proud of myself, buying two of the "worst" games for the system.
I plan on showing him the YouTube videos on Christmas day. :D

Thanks again, everyone! This is a fantastic website.

Merry Christmas!

Cheers,
Smeg
