Panzer general vs. Perfect general
I almost finish the campain mode in the Perfect General. I like strategy games so I found the Perfect genenal very fun. I have not played Panzer general but I was wondering how good it is, or wich one is better? Is there someone who has played both games?
i really need to play both these games, to see if i will like them
if they are anything like warcraft2/starcraft/command & conquer
i will probably like it
but if its like third world war for the sega cd i probably wont like it

Third World War was a cross between an RTS and a 'business-sim"
Panzer General is a more straight forward strategy game. The biggest up is there are alot more vehicles and the maps are bigger. The interface needs work.
Perfect General was ok, but not thrilling and pretty easy by comparison. The light-hearted comedy scenes and MST3K level bad acting make this game endearing. (and to think this is the reason why I own plumbers don't wear ties. I mailed away the card "buy this game, get PDWT free!"... I want my stamp back!)

Wait, really? And is "PG" Panzer General or The Perfect General?maclic wrote:These are a Turn Based Strategy games, like advance wars for gameboy advance. They are not as friendly and polished as actual TBS but perfect general was a lot of fun for me. By the way, PG has some minigames, some of them use the light gun.
While I'm asking, is The Perfect General really made by the same people who did Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, or is it just a publishing/distribution thing? Seems weird that the Plumbers team were capable of making an actual game.
These games were not released in Japan.
(It seemed to have the release plan from the maker.)
I want to play once・・・
(Oh! But ・・ where I cannot understand English)

Because I make a note using translation software, I think that it becomes a poor English sentence.
I'm sorry.

But I want to have as collection.
