Possible Dumb question. 2 player option on ALGs

I have 3 game guns from ebay auctions and noticed on a number of the American laser games has a 2 player option. But how when there is only one player port on the console and none on the gun to create a chain. Is there a way to play 2 players at the same time with 2 guns without one playing with the gun and the other on the controller. Like the original arcade of Mad dog Mcree.

Simple, you just need the gun that has the extra port on it. There were 2 versions of the game gun. Single player and multiplayer.

Thank you so much for the info on the two different guns. I didn't even know there was 2 different versions. As a result of your kind comment, I just bought the appropriate gun on ebay today!! Thank you again.

Man i envy you guys in America, being able to pick the guns up that easy, we don't even see them over in the UK, and the US ones won't work on PAL consoles.

Is there any third party companies selling these or the mouses anywhere?
