Well, I'm impressed with IMSA... No pop-up, smooth frame-rate, and is that car damage I see? And either that guy really sucks at the game, or they hadn't done much to tune the controls yet. :)

Oh, and I should have watched the second D2 video. That looks really good, too. The mirror and the flicker from the fire are nice.

I'm thinking M2 is to N64 as Xbox is to Dreamcast.

I believe he said that the game is set up for analog control and is very tricky to drive with the digital steering provided by the M2 proto pad.

I've been watching these guys since the Konami M2 stuff went up - all I can think is CRAP CRAP CRAP on you Matsushita.
This I believe is the proof that M2 was indeed almost as good as the hype around it.
Ah what might have been.

If anyone from GTW is visiting us (I think they know who they are)

THANK YOU

Be sure not to miss the two videos from the near-final version of IMSA Racing. The ones you linked to are from an Alpha version which was already impressive but nowhere near the final version. Especially the Mardi Gras race track looks gorgeous.

Take a look at "console wars of the past 3do" on youtube - these guys give an interesting and fair outsiders view of the 3do's place in history - its not great but at least they show some respect!

Yup, and it's videos like this that make me mad that Matsushita too the woosie way out and didn't even try to see if people would buy the system. Those games look awesome.

Hmm it's definately somewhere between a PS1 and PS2 in terms of power isn't it.

Great pictures by the way. :)
