We all have our favourite 3DO game! (Cough... Lucinennes Quest/ Dr hauzer)

...but what game / games remind you of 3DO?

NFS? Yeah okay! Wing Commander III? (we don't award prizes!)

Me? My vision of 3DO? Well, Shockwave I guess. And immercenary. No matter what, that game was at a significant turning point in gaming.

... you?

FIFA and NFS - one was the pack in - the other my first purchase. Both were my introduction to the next gen of gaming and what introductions they were!
Honorable mention to Return Fire , twisted and Battlesport - whenever I think of multiplayer fun my 3do thoughts turn to these!

Guardian War (Powers Kingdom) :D A 3DO exclusive w/it's trademark great graphics & (especially) excellent audio! Very Japanese flavor too. And a gameplay style that you'd be hard pressed to find on other consoles. Also distributed by Panasonic which is the name most associate w/3DO.

Almost forgot my fav, Twisted! (honarable mention to Station Invasion & Zhadnost too which formed the rest of the game show trilogy) Trips #1 too, so if that doesn't symbolize 3DO what does? A fabulous 3DO exclusive! :D

Samurai Shodown, actually -- as the first time I played it was on my friend's 3DO in the mid nineties.

Certainly Samurai Shodown reminds me of the 90s. More so than any other fighter.

Space Hulk, Killing Time, HELL, D & Escape from Monster Manor. Those are my top five and whenever I think of them I think of this awesome console.

I've noticed that space games play a huge role on the 3DO. Despite never owning one (Acquisition is under way I am falling in love with the console) it has the perfect mix of space games for someone who's a wing commander nut like myself.

wcnews.com reckons it has the best graphics out of all the console ports of wc3 and has higher quality movies than the pc version. It adds full colour comms vids and it has some missing scenes the pc version doesn't have. On the other hand they removed the ground missions from the console and replaced them with cutscenes. I have heard as well that the space missions themselves play differently and the missions are different to the pc version so it's basically a whole new game when you're in the space part. Very much looking forward to it.

I've read the pc version doesn't have gun platforms ... the 3DO build has plenty! (they make some of the later missions real tough) WC III is one of my fav games too! Have fun w/the great 3DO version ... it does the console proud! :D
