How many games?

Post by 3DOKid » Sun Jan 14, 2007 2:52 pm

Games list?

I've been looking for a decent list of games for the 3DO - but most are rubbish.

The problem appears to be that firstly none games are included, demo discs are included and bundles are included. Secondly the Japanese games are often counted twice - even though it's just a direct translation of the western name. Perfect World in Japan for example is in fact Immercenary however most lists include it twice!

Most people quote the 3DO as having about 240 games - I think its closer to 200.

I intend to create a definative list and also catogrise the games so, Shoot 'em ups, RPG, part games. Watch this space!

Cool idea! Perhaps we could create a locked thread and add to the list over time on the forum?

Cool, yes! How about the same categories like on the CD-i Forum? Just an idea, also to provide info about the developers?

yes there needs to be a reliable list of games/entertainment titles, none of this possibly released, the list at Digitpress.com is pretty good and seperates fact from fiction, because the guy who updates the lists was collecting for the 3DO at the same time i was and he has all the US released games for the 3DO like i do

i have 180 games/ game packages, this includes repacks like The Action Pack, Gunslinger, Maniac Pack also the 3 Woody Woodpecker toons (same as the Adult Vivid titles and should be counted), i would consider them in the list, maybe seperate games from entertainment when making the list
and i like the sticky/locked thread for a list of games released

Cheers mate!

I'll add what I know of the Japanese games tomorrow! I've got family (natives) in Japan who send me stuff and I've bought stuff too. I have a vague idea of what Japanese games I have missing too!

What's this? My CD is red with black "KILLING TIME" text. Is there a bug I should be careful of?

yup but it is managable, and if you got a game guru its fixable

here is a link to the ones i have
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f105/ ... xversi.jpg

this site says it all, i included the text below
http://www.cheatsearch.com/Panasonic_3D ... 06228.HTML
Killing Time
============

Save game bug The original release of this title may corrupt the save game.
------------- This occurs when the game is loading a new section of the mansion
and your character moves back into the old section of the mansion and/or walks
against one of the walls. Then, multicolored textured polygons may appear from
random spots on the sides and top of the screen and stretch to the vanishing
point in the center of the screen. These stretched polygons may even completely
obscure the screen. If the game is saved while the polygon bug is in effect,
it will be retained in the save game. Some corrupted save games may lock up the
game when loaded.

If you stop moving when a new section of the mansion is being loaded, the bug
will not occur. As an added precaution, use multiple saved games.

The The 3DO Company should be contacted to arrange a trade-in for a corrected
version of the game. Another solution to the problem is to use the option to
fix the corrupted file available on the The 3DO Game Guru list of Killing Time
items.

3DO Today has a list of his titles in his collection, but it is very out of date and doesn't list all of them. Still its one of a few places I know you can start.

I'm in the (slow) process of scanning all of my import titles. I'm guessing that I have significantly more than 100 different titles. When I have completed the scanning I will post a link to the images. I am very much interested in creating as complete a list as possible. As with other listings of this nature, it will be dynamic as I continually find import games that I didn't know existed and do not show up on any current catalog that I am aware of.

Hi, guys from Russia!!! :D
Maybe I can help to make a Japanese game list.
Because, I can read Japanese. If you place a photo of a game I will translate it in English.
I wish greatly Panasonic would make 3do Next Generation Console some day.

Crazy. Have fun getting that list finalized man. If you can get a perfect list, that would be awesome.
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!
